2. Latar Belakang
Dalam segi Bahasa, software development merupakan pengembangan sebuah peringkat
lunak. Selanjutnya menurut istilah, merupakan proses pengembangan sebuah aplikasi perangkat
lunak yang dijalankan secara sistematis sehingga menghasilkan sebuah produk yang baik dan
berkualitas. Di dunia Developer sendiri, istilah ini sering disebut dengan Software Development Life
Cycle (SDLC). SDLC sendiri merupakan siklus hidup dari pengembangan software. Tujuan dari
penggunaan SDLC sendiri adalah untuk membangun sebuah system informasi yang
direncanakan dengan baik agar memenuhi target produk yang akan dirilis.
3. Latar Belakang
Perkembangan ICT (Information and Communication Technology) pada saat ini sangat
dirasakan oleh masyarakat diseluruh dunia. ICT memberikan dampak positif di segala bidang
dalam kehidupan manusia. Perkembangan pesat ICT dimulai pada abad ke-20 dimana pada era
ini teknologi yang diciptakan semakin canggih dan perangkat-perangkat analog pun sedikit demi
sedikit mulai digantikan oleh perangkat digital. Dengan adanya ICT, setiap orang dapat
melakukan pekerjaan menjadi lebih mudah dimana internet menjadi faktor utama dalam aktifitas
keseharian mereka. Masyarakat di seluruh dunia dapat saling terhubung sehingga pertukaran
informasi pun dapat terjadi secara instan dimana proses penyampaian dan penerimaan
informasi dapat dilakukan dengan cepat tanpa adanya kendala geografis, artinya pertukaran
informasi ini dapat terjadi secara global. Dalam bidang bisnis, ICT sangat diperlukan
kehadirannya dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasional perusahaan baik itu pemasaran,
pengolahan data pelanggan, dan kegiatan lainnya. Menurut data Worldometers, yaitu sebuah
situs yang dianggap salah satu yang terbaik untuk dijadikan referensi oleh American Library
Association (ALA).
4. Tujuan
Tujuan dari software developer di perusahaan blibli.com, yaitu:
1. Mengembangkan, menciptakan dan memodifikasi software aplikasi
computer.
2. Menganalisa kebutuhan pengguna, merancang dan mengembangkan
solusi software.
3. Bekerja sama dengan programmer, system analyst dan pekerja lain
agar dapat mendesain aplikasi dan system dengan baik.
4. Melakukan maintenance system yang telah ada dengan
memperhatikan pengawasan dan juga memperbaiki kesalahan.
5. Mendokumentasikan update setiap software yang ditangani.
Pokok Permasalahan
1. Bagaimana undang – undang profesi yang berkaitan dengan software
developer?
2. Apa kode etik profesi yang harus diterapkan di perusahaan tersebut?
3. Apa contoh profesionalisme yang software developer harus miliki dan
mereka terapkan di perusahaan tersebut?
5. Manfaat
● Software Development
● Fungsi software development yang pertama adalah untuk membantu
komunikasi antar tim developer dalam pengembangan aplikasi. Hal ini
sangatlah penting, karena untuk mengurangi terjadinya miss communication
antar tim.
● Misalnya dari sisi UI / UX Designer, menjalankan tugas untuk membuat
rancangan awal desain sebuah website. Kemudian, pada sisi front end
developer dapat menjalankan tugas nya untuk membuat tampilan sebuah
website dari hasil rancangan desain murni dari UI / UX Designer.
● Software Developer
● Setelah mengenal pengertian dan fungsi dari software development,
selanjutnya kami akan mengajak anda untuk mengenal apa itu software
developer. Tentu dalam pengembangan aplikasi, pasti membutuhkan seorang
developer yang terbagi menjadi beberapa tim untuk memudahkan dalam
proses pengembangan software.
6. Undang-undang Profesi
Pembajakan Software
Bicara tentang pembajakan software tidak akan habis-habisnya. Mulai dari software dengan harga ratusan
ribu sampai jutaan rupiah tidak lepas dari pembajakan. Di satu sisi pengguna yang tidak mampu untuk
membeli software original bisa diuntungkan dengan pembajakan tersebut dengan mendapatkan harga yang
lebih murah atau pun gratis. Tapi dilain pihak, pengembang software akan gigit jari melihat software
mereka dibajak.
Undang-undang :
Sebenarnya, masalah hak cipta awalnya merupakan permasalahan perdata, artinya hanya menyangkut
kepentingan individu terhadap individu lainnya. Namun, lantaran UU Hak Cipta juga memasukkan unsur
pidana, maka masuklah masalah pembajakan software ke ranah pidana. Pasal 72 ayat (1) memberikan
ancaman kurungan pidana bagi mereka yang sengaja dan tanpa hak (melawan hukum) melakukan perbuatan
tersebut, paling singkat 1 bulan dan/atau denda paling sedikit Rp. 1 juta, paling lama 7 tahun dan/atau denda
paling banyak Rp 5 milyar.
7. Undang-undang Profesi
Cyber Espionage, Sabotage, and Extortion
Undang-undang :Pasal 27 (1): Setiap orang dilarang menggunakan dan atau mengakses komputer dan atau
sistem elektronik dengan cara apapun tanpa hak, untuk memperoleh, mengubah, merusak, atau
menghilangkan informasi dalam komputer dan atau sistem elektronik. (Pidana empat tahun penjara dan
denda Rp 1 miliar).
8. •Cyber Espionage, Sabotage, and Extortion
Cyber Espionage merupakan kejahatan yang memanfaatkan jaringan internet untuk melakukan
kegiatan mata-mata terhadap pihak lain, dengan memasuki sistem jaringan komputer pihak
sasaran. Sabotage and Extortion merupakan jenis kejahatan yang dilakukan dengan membuat
gangguan, perusakan atau penghancuran terhadap suatu data, program komputer atau sistem
jaringan komputer yang terhubung dengan internet.
Contoh Kasus :
munculnya “sendmail worm” (sekitar tahun 1988) yang menghentikan sistem email Internet
kala itu. Kemudian dibentuk sebuah Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT).
Semenjak itu di negara lain mulai juga dibentuk CERT untuk menjadi point of contact bagi
orang untuk melaporkan masalah kemanan. IDCERT merupakan CERT Indonesia.
Undang-undang :
Pasal 27 (1): Setiap orang dilarang menggunakan dan atau mengakses komputer dan atau
sistem elektronik dengan cara apapun tanpa hak, untuk memperoleh, mengubah, merusak,
atau menghilangkan informasi dalam komputer dan atau sistem elektronik. (Pidana empat
tahun penjara dan denda Rp 1 miliar).

Kode etik profesi yang harus di terapkan dalam perusahaan blibli:
• Jujur dan dapat dipercaya
• Setiap developers dilarang keras untuk mengakui hasil karya orang lain
• Berkontribusi untuk kehidupan masyarakat yang baik
• Mereka harus menggunakan ide sendiri untuk mengembangkan software
• Mereka harus mengenali dan mengakui pekerjaan/karya orang lain
• Menghormati privasi orang lain
• Disiplin dalam mengembangkan software
