2. New Check Horizon Feature
You can use the following options to define how the the check horizon in the ATP check is
handled:
• Full Confirmation
Items for which the requested material availability date falls within the check horizon, but
for which inventory is insufficient, are confirmed for delivery after the check horizon. Items
with a requested material availability date after the end of the check horizon are always
confirmed fully.
• Zero Confirmation
Items for which the requested material availability date falls within the check horizon are
only confirmed against requirement and receipt elements within the check horizon.
Demand and supply with dates after the end of the check horizon are not considered. All
items with a requested material availability date after the end of the check horizon get
zero confirmed quantity.
• Ignore Check Horizon
The check horizon is not considered. Items are confirmed according to the available
stocks and supply elements.

4. Material Master Data
The ATP check horizon is based on
the replenishment lead time
determined from the material master.
If you want the system to check the
replenishment lead time, you should
make sure that you have entered a
value in at least one of the following
three fields in the material master:
•GR (goods receipt) processing
time (Purchasing view)
•Planned delivery time (MRP I view)
•GR processing time (MRP II view)
5. Sample Scenarios
Scenario 1: Result after check horizon parameter is chosen as ‘Zero confirmation’
Scenario 2: Result after check horizon parameter is chosen as ‘Full Confirmation’

12. Sales Order Confirmation with Scenario 2
• Sales order item quantity is greater than available stock. System fully confirms sales order item. As
a result of this confirmation,system creates a new schedule line with delivery date which is equal
end lead time although there is not enough available stock.
13. CO09 result after sales order was saved
according to Scenario 2
• There is no negative cumulative available quantity on CO09 screen.
14. CO09 result after sales order was saved
according to Scenario 2
• Schedule line is displayed as ‘End lead time’ in MRP element data column on CO09 screen.
