To Whom It May:
I would like to take this opportunity to formally recommend Mr. Ernie Morse as a candidate
for employment. I had the opportunity to bring Ernie to the Advance Auto Parts organization
in 1997 as a Store General Manager. Ernie quickly rose to the position of District Manager
which was the position he held until his departure in 2013. I worked and interacted with Mr.
Morse in my different capacities during his tenure with AAP.
Some insights into Ernie…
• Delivered consistent results through strong employee retention and setting high
standards for in store execution and a general expectation of outstanding customer
service.
• Ernie built a solid reputation as a “values based leader”. Ernie is a man of integrity
and always displayed a professional demeanor and an honest and candid approach
with his team and supervisors.
• Built solid teams through consistent performance management, employee
development and a focus on the success of his direct reports.
Ernie left our organization for family reasons and it is my hope that this recommendation
letter will assist him in obtaining a position that will take advantage of his many capabilities.
