CityArchRiver Project
brought the addition
of 840
organically-raised
London Plane trees
to the grounds of the
Jefferson National
Expansion Memorial.
35,605 gallons of a Liquid Biological Amendment
(compost tea) were added to the soil.
Radishes were planted
to naturally aerate soil.

Storm water is stored in a cistern under Luther Ely
Smith Square and then used for irrigation.
The 4 cisterns can hold a total
of 65,000 gallons of water.
