My Mother Has A Unique Sense Of Humor
As the years go by, I gain a better understanding of my mother, and although she has shared her story to me over those years, I still have not heard
it all. She was born Adriana Manzano De La Cruz in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on September 8th, 1972, and despite the challenges she faced as a
child, she has grown into the amazing person I call mom. Her infectious laugh and sarcastic tendencies have made life all the more livable for me
and have shown me that life is meant to be spent in joy and happiness. She shows her humility through her dire need for saving money, not to fund
our need for expensive luxuries but our constant need for food, clothing, shelter, and education. The strength she finds in God is absolutely
astonishing, and it has gotten her through inconceivable hardships. I admire my mother as the woman of good humor, humility, and strong faith in
the Lord that she is. My mother has a unique sense of humor. Most every time she speaks, her words are dripping with sarcasm, and often times,
what comes natural to her, is to respond to what she feels is ignorance with a sarcastic remark. When the question, "Mom, where do I put the
trash?" is asked, she, without fail, retorts with, "on your head." It has always been her mind set that if you ask a stupid question, you'll get a stupid
answer. At times, she does not even reply with words but only with a face that reads "really?" I remember so many times where I myself have been
deemed worthy of a slap to my own ego and was

My mother has had the greatest influence on me. Growing Up she has taught me many things. She has helped me many times and still does. I have
learned many lessons with her helping me. Responsibility is one of the very important things she has taught me. How to be a good person around
others that are not. My mother has been and still is the only parent I see every day. While being with her I have learned many things. She has taught
me to be responsible for my things like my clothing and art supplies, around people, and my siblings. At home I have to finish my chores sweeping,
mopping, washing laundry, cleaning of the tables and the counter top, and sometimes clean the yard. Most of the time I have to help my sisters with
their laundry or sweeping, and sometimes cook for my family when my mother and grandmother are not home. When I have too much work at
home and schoolwork my mother would help me finish my chores and we will be free for the rest of the day and when that happens we all spend
time as a family and go eat or watch a movie. I have learned lessons while living with my mother and a big family. A lesson I have learned was
never add too much salt in my rice and soup. Do not add a bunch of soap into the washer machine or I will have to clean it up myself and to sew but
do not push a needle up between two cloths while your thumb is in the way. Mother was busy helping my sisters with their laundry and the food was
not prepared. I had nothing to do so she called my name

Mother Essay : My Mother
My Mom Moms are the most special and pure beings in the world. They are that being who gives everything for love, for her home, for her children
and grandchildren. The mother is such a blessed woman that she endures so many things for the sake of her children, while many times we are
ungrateful to them, assuming that our mothers will always be there for us.
When moms still there with you, it is fortunate to have her, because the kind of love she gives is the purest you can ever find. My mom, for example,
is very special to me, since she has taught me how to live and how to value things in life. She has always been present at all times and has not spent a
single day in which she has forgotten to give me her blessing. she is the one who...show more content...
She always encourages me to work hard, stay focus and never give up. She has been a great example of how to be an excellent mother and wife. What I
admire most about her is that when I was a baby she used to work everyday and I am surprised that she always had time for me and her work, I mean
that working and taking care of a baby is very difficult. Everyday she gets up to work, to be sure that I have everything I need. She's a mother and wife
focused on giving her family the best of her. If my family were in need, she would do whatever it takes to get what is needed.
Another reason why my mother is very special is because she always makes space and takes time to go to my volleyball games. She sometimes has
to drive three or four hours and stay in a hotel just to be present in my games. She gets really involved in the game, she cheers a lot, and she is my
number one cheerleader. My mom sometimes takes goodies to treat my teammates. They all respect and love her because how she treats everyone
on the team. She gets excited and has a lot of fun in my games. I'm thankful for what my mom has done for me. Everyday she's looking for different
ways to improve my lifestyle. The sacrifices she has to make to help me move forward is something I will never be able to pay her back. There's
nothing better than share with her my challenges and achievements. I always ask God to bless me allowing me to have

My Mother Values
My mother Valerie Moore inspires me the most. She was born in the mid 70`s and happens to be the only child on her mother side. The values that my
grandmother instilled in my mother are the same values and morals my mother taught her 3 kids growing up. My mother taught each of her kids not to
lie, not to steal and not to cheat. She would constantly tell us to always think before we speak no matter what situation is at hand.
My mother taught us early on in life never take anything without permission weather it was from a sibling, parent, teacher, friend or store without
asking for it or paying for it because its disrespectful to the owner, the employees, and yourself. One good example I have is my brother worked at
a local grocery store and one Friday while dropping him off we decided to do some shopping, throughout the shopping trip my sister and cousin
decided they would go against the things we were taught and steal a purse full of candy. After we made it home my mom noticed the 2 of them
were eating candy. She asked several times who gave you all candy? Where did this come from? After what seemed like hours of questioning them
they finally decided to tell the truth and let my mom know the stole the candy from the store my brother worked at. My mother asked for the
remaining candies that weren't open she gathered us up and w headed back to Piggly Wiggly. Once we entered the store my mom asked for the store
manager and made the girls explained what they had done, the manage

My Mother As A Mother
Almost everyone's role model is their mother, but all but for several different reasons. Many find their mother's compassion to be appealing. Others their
mother's strength to be inspiring. Although mine encompasses those characteristics mentioned above, she's much more than that. Much more than a
kind, compassionate, strong, and helpful person; she's all that – and more. With my mother's stories I have grown to know her flaws; both physical and
emotional. Born in a town I admire her originality, wit, and worldview. But what I admire the most is her ability to not be as pessimistic as I tend to
be, but to be realistic. I aspire to be her solely because of her wholehearted intention to seize the day, every day. For this reason, I would love...show

women, who like the wandering lady on the corner who sells artesanГa, are just trying to make a living. After such an eventful morning, I would go
down to the creek my mother constantly speaks about filled with not only countless memories, but with various wildflowers that appear to be almost
waving at me because of the strong hot winds. As the time goes by, I would get to witness the gorgeous sunset with clouds edged with pink and gold
where my mother spent her childhood afternoons. On my way back I would notice cops roaming the streets, just as she said, and even though everyone
is poor and struggling the fajita manages to always be on the grill while the accordion bangs on speakers and ladies dance with their husbands shaking
their body as if the music came within them. Witnessing this makes it hard to even imagine that for these people there is never enough money, just
work and work. Even though that is the reality, they manage to find pure joy out of everything just like mother.
Not only will IпёЏ visit the wonderful places my mother has often spoken about, but I would love visit the family that IпёЏ have yet to meet. By doing

My Abuela, Nory
Let me tell you about wonderful women that not only raised me but my mother. This person is someone I admire and hope to be like her someday.
My Abuela, Nory touched the heart and soul of everyone that met her, but none more so than me. She has always been there for me and myfamily. My
Abuela has taught me many valuable things in life and hopefully, she will continue to do that. Nory is important to me because she knows how to
cook, she knows how to have fun, and she's the most confident person I have ever seen.
First of all, Nory is an exceptional chef. We all know how amazing a grandma can cook especially if she's Hispanic. They know the recipes from the
old world and can recreate them perfectly. When we try to copy their masterpieces we find that we still fall short. No one can measure up to my
grandma. This 5 foot 3, 65–year–old beast of a woman can make you taste heaven in every meal that she prepares. I have always loved baking but I
found it fascinated when I would watch my grandma cook. She always has more than two shoves one plus the rice cooker and the microwave. If you
have ever seen how busy a five–star restaurant kitchen is on a weekend then I'm sure you can picture just how busy the kitchen is, except in this case
its only one master chef. Her short auburn hair is all over the place, the sweat on her face shows just how much she has worked and you can never
forget her signature mismatched socks. The best

The Most Influential Person Who I Admire
The person who I am going to write about, is also the most influential person who I admire greatly, my mother. My mother, a single parent has raised
two children for the past thirteen years without the help of our father. Being a single mom, she has been the one who has supported me throughout my
childhood, both in the good and bad times. I personally feel the knowledge I have gained from the wisdom and skills she has taught me during the past
will only benefit me in the years to come. There have been times when I was down due to one reason or another, and with mom being the nurturing
mother she is, could sense I needed help. Instead of just giving me her direct opinion, we would discuss several resolutions to resolve a situation. This
motivates me, to become a better person by being rational and consider other alternatives, to think outside the box and come up with a better way for all.
My mothers' work ethic is a powerful influence on me as well. After she became a single parent, my mother had to find a full time job to support my
sister and me. Having gone without at times to provide for two small children, she has inspired me to realize that I can support myself if needed. She
calls this being the "positive self" as my mother says; meaning I can make positive decisions to support an action in a difficult situation. This
encourages me to become self–sufficient, to work for what I want, and to reassure myself that I can succeed in life on my own. I admire my

It took me a few years to realize what an extraordinary influence my mother has been on my life. She's the kind of person who always has time for
her kids, always interested in learning something new, would sacrifice herself for her family, and is easily the strongest woman in my eyes. Growing
up, I know I haven't been the best son in the world but if you were to ask her, she would say otherwise. Looking back, my mom is the most positive
and important influence on my life. My mother actually is an ordinary woman but in her tiny appearance shines an extraordinary fortitude,
perseverance, an altruistic soul and is very kind hearted. The kind of mother who brought me up with her whole kindly heart, the kind of persistent

Growing up in a poor family, my mother must work very hard to earn her living since an early age. Due to shortage of material condition, she herself
has trained an extremely strong will and ability to sedately deal with each difficulty and stand up to move on from her failures. I vividly
remember the calamity poured down on my family when my mother' business went bankrupt. We had to sell our house and leave for another town
to begin from "zero". This critical time made every member in my family really upset. But it was my mother, the persistent and brave women,
strongly stood up and started over again after this great adversity. Each of her failures, her grief, and the way she overcame difficulties to move on
has made an indelible impression in my mind, leaving me with precious lessons about the values of strong wills and indefatigable endeavors to
firmly confront with setbacks and bravely conquer them. There was time when I felt that there was no more hope in life, that I felt very weary and
was about to give up everything. After the constant moving from one place to another and my grades slipping down the drain I was unable to deal
with any small problems and felt embarrassed to meet my relatives and friends. However, that was also the time that I acquired from my mother how
to learn from her mistakes and developed my own set of tools to take more lessons from them to realize the proper meanings of determination.

My Mom Research Paper
Heroes come in many shapes and sizes, like the iconic heroes we see on the big screen, for example, Batman and Superman, or normal everyday
heroes, like a doctor or a firefighter. But I think that the biggest hero is the one that is closest to me, and that is my Mom. Everyday, I admire and
look up to her, and others should too. My Mom teaches heroic life lessons that you and I should admire her for. A time this happened is when I
first realized my Mom was my hero at the age of 5. We had just moved into a small town called Livingston, from New York City. So, naturally, I
was very nervous that I would have no friends and was refusing to go to the first day of Kindergarten. I decided that I wouldn't move at all. But my
Mom promised me I would have a good time, comforted me, and with a kiss, picked me up and carried me into the car, all while saying that my
education is the most important thing in the world. That day, she stayed with me in school for the whole day. Even though at that time, I thought...show

last five years, and when I was younger, her work schedule always confused me. She was never there anymore to play, or do arts and crafts with, or
help me with my homework. Because of this, I started to do everything with my Dad. But as I got older, I finally understood that she was working
as hard as possible to make money for our family, to let me have a good life. She was trying to make sure I could have food, clothes, and shelter, and
that is heroic. And because of that, I always admire her, and if she was your heroic Mom, you'd admire her too for being so dedicated to working for

Dear Mom Essays
Dear Mom,
You're probably thinking, What is this? I've been in college for four years, and I've never written you a letter. I've sent you a couple of emails that
you never checked. Mostly I call, say hello, and hang up. That way you have to call me back, and my phone bill stays small.
I'm writing because I have something I need to tell you, but I feel silly saying it. Also, I can be more organized this way. You know how weengineers
like everything in its place. Anyway, I need to tell you this because of something tacked on my wall. It's something I believe in, but I've never done
anything about it. It's a quote. It goes something like this.

Blood and guts just aren't for me.
Also, I don't get your whole sports thing. Running, skiing, or biking for hours just doesn't appeal to me. And it makes you so tired! You're usually
snoring on the couch before I leave for the night.
So, OK. We aren't exactly two of a kind. Sometimes it shows. Many a long day together has ended in hostile silence. I'm not trying to put you down
here. Actually, I'm trying to be a little funny. Actually, I'm avoiding the part that's hard for me: the part where I tell you why you are myrole model. The
part where I tell you why I admire you so much. The sentimental part.
Telling you this presents a problem. You're the touchy feely one. How am I going to do this? Fortunately, being a good engineering student has
made me a good problem solver. Or maybe it's the other way around. Anyway, I can solve this problem. I have a bunch of reasons I admire you. I'll
simply put them into a bullet list. Then I will elaborate. I love bullet lists. They're organized, succinct, and pleasing to the eye. Here's one for you:
* Career
* Friends
* Sports
* Independence
* Family

You've spent most of your adult life working as a nurse in the emergency room. You must have saved hundreds of lives, but you never mention it. You

My Reflection On My Mother Essay
A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to
describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I
admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where
she is today. I will begin by telling you a little bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside of George with her parents, Harris and Bev
Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in
a lot of different activities. She was in the play, large group and individual speech, a cheerleader, played the drums in band, was in student council,
secretary of her class, REC club, band, and jazz band. In her free time she hung out with friends and her sister. She had a few jobs growing up also.
She babysat a lot, worked at the library, and the dentist office. My mother also helped teach bible school, catechism, and attended youth group at Hope
Reformed Church. My mother met my dad, Doug Krull when she was a junior in high school. They dated for a while and ended getting married. They
then had three beautiful daughters, Allyssa, Megan, and Rebecca. My mom went to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, to get her education

Who I Want To Be Like When I Grow Up
I admire my mom, Nicole Tighe, because she is dedicated and loving to everyone . One reason I admire Nikki Tighe is because she's very committed.
First, she is exceedingly committed to our family, work and school. My mom is going back to college, going to work till 6:30 p.m., and helping raise a
family of four; somehow she has time for every second of it, and never gives up or slows down. Not only is she committed, but also greatly
compassionate, and I admire her for that. Another example on how she portrays compassion is by caring for others. My mom cares for others, she
shows a motherly love to them; just to demonstrate and show that God loves them and so does she. I want to be just like Nicole Tighe,

saying, "Ohanna: Nobody gets left behind." This past summer we went on a cruise ship. The whole side of my mom's family had gone. I enjoyed
my time there, especially when we arrived in Cozumel, MX. One of the most embarrassing things that could happen to me frightened my mom to
death. Purging is said to make you lose weight. The banging on the restroom door startled me knowing I would be caught. From that point on she
took extra care of my health. Looking after what I ate, when I should exercise etc. When I was fourteen, my parents and I made a deal that if I lost
twenty pounds, I would be able to get my first tattoo. She supported me with it, thus, me losing the weight. Not everyone grows up with manners. I
have a high tolerance for respect. Growing up going to church every Sunday due to my mom helped me adapt to maturity. Not that I'm highly
bipolar, but I do lose my temper really drastically. I've been taught by my mom to forgive and forget. Through the worst of her times that people
have put her through; she forgives. She tells me I have the blood of my dad seeing as how I will always hold a grudge towards someone no matter
what. I know my mom wants the best for her kids,

Admirable Characteristics Of My Mother
It is a proven fact that people learn from the people that they surround themselves with. A person's life is spent acquiring habits, phrases, and
mannerisms based on what they observe from the people around them. From the day someone is born, they begin learning and observing, and perhaps
the most prominent aspect of most children's' lives during this learning process is their mother. There is not a single person in my life who has had a
more significant impact on my life than my mother. This is not only because I learned everything from her when I was younger, but because of her
many admirable attributes. Growing up, I recognized very early on that my mother had a great work ethic. Because of this, she has pushed me all
my life to live up to my full potential. My mother is also the most selfless person I know; constantly pushing her needs and wants to the side to
accommodate to what I, or anyone else needed. I have always looked up to my mom and I give her full credit for shaping me into the person I am today.
One of the most admirable characteristics that my mother has is her great work ethic. I would not be as far in life as I am today if it were not for my
constant observation of her determination in everyday life. When I was around six, she was going to school, working, and raising me. I remember
specifically spending nights on the living room floor going over her flashcards with her to help her prepare for a test. At the time I wasn't really sure

The Most Is My Mother

I Admire My Mother Essay
When you look at my family right now, you can see that everyone is separated from each other. My mom and sister live in the states, my other sister
lives in the Philippines, and I live here on Saipan with my father. My mother is the kind of person that can voice her opinions, one that can speak to
people, and someone who can find a way through any situation. These are some of the reasons I admire my mother deeply. When you look at my
mother, she is a lady of Asian descent who seemingly has a quiet and menacing aura. One thing I admire about my mom is the fact that she can
speak her mind out, whether it was hurtful to one or not. I recall a time when we were at a big mall with a seemingly endless vast of clothing,
which seemed to be Macy's clothing shop if I recall correctly. We then entered the faded sliding door in which the intoxicating smell of sweet
perfume assaulted my nostrils; the smell was extremely thick it seemed as if you could see the waft of perfume. This scent caused my mother to say
"The smell here is horrid", and the staff working there looked at my mother wondering "who was this lady who just insulted the...show more content...

remember going to Managaha and my mom just stepped into a boat and asked a man to take us to Managaha, and he did. Apparently my mom was
his first aid instructor, so he gave us a free ride there and back. I saw the glittering ocean and I smelled the fresh salty breeze, it was almost as if you

My Mother : The Admirable Human Being
The Admirable Human Being As Stevie Wonder once said, "Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love
is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love." For years and years mothers have been known as the caretakers. Even in the olden
days, mothers would stay at home to cook, to clean, and to take care of their children. In theory, the average mother still posses a portion of these jobs.
Despite this, my mother goes way above what the average mother would do to impact her life and the lives of others. Therefore, the person in
which I admire the most, in the world, is my mother. I admire my mother the most in the world because she puts those she loves the most before
herself, my mother comforts me when I need assistance, and she stays strong even when life throws you curve balls. My mother is the person I
admire the most in the world because she always puts other individuals before herself. My mother constantly demonstrates this during any type of
daily activity. For example, my mother, after arriving home from her eight hour nurse shift, will set down her bags and begin to cook dinner. Work
shoes still on. Work bags waiting to be unloaded. Work updates for her to check. In the meantime, my brother and I will be working on homework,
and my father will be helping out with the house chores. Once the dinner is made, my mother will help everyone scoop up their food. When everyone
has their food, my mother

My Mother's Unique Sense of Humor

  • 1. My Mother Has A Unique Sense Of Humor As the years go by, I gain a better understanding of my mother, and although she has shared her story to me over those years, I still have not heard it all. She was born Adriana Manzano De La Cruz in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico on September 8th, 1972, and despite the challenges she faced as a child, she has grown into the amazing person I call mom. Her infectious laugh and sarcastic tendencies have made life all the more livable for me and have shown me that life is meant to be spent in joy and happiness. She shows her humility through her dire need for saving money, not to fund our need for expensive luxuries but our constant need for food, clothing, shelter, and education. The strength she finds in God is absolutely astonishing, and it has gotten her through inconceivable hardships. I admire my mother as the woman of good humor, humility, and strong faith in the Lord that she is. My mother has a unique sense of humor. Most every time she speaks, her words are dripping with sarcasm, and often times, what comes natural to her, is to respond to what she feels is ignorance with a sarcastic remark. When the question, "Mom, where do I put the trash?" is asked, she, without fail, retorts with, "on your head." It has always been her mind set that if you ask a stupid question, you'll get a stupid answer. At times, she does not even reply with words but only with a face that reads "really?" I remember so many times where I myself have been deemed worthy of a slap to my own ego and was Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. My Mother Essay My mother has had the greatest influence on me. Growing Up she has taught me many things. She has helped me many times and still does. I have learned many lessons with her helping me. Responsibility is one of the very important things she has taught me. How to be a good person around others that are not. My mother has been and still is the only parent I see every day. While being with her I have learned many things. She has taught me to be responsible for my things like my clothing and art supplies, around people, and my siblings. At home I have to finish my chores sweeping, mopping, washing laundry, cleaning of the tables and the counter top, and sometimes clean the yard. Most of the time I have to help my sisters with their laundry or sweeping, and sometimes cook for my family when my mother and grandmother are not home. When I have too much work at home and schoolwork my mother would help me finish my chores and we will be free for the rest of the day and when that happens we all spend time as a family and go eat or watch a movie. I have learned lessons while living with my mother and a big family. A lesson I have learned was never add too much salt in my rice and soup. Do not add a bunch of soap into the washer machine or I will have to clean it up myself and to sew but do not push a needle up between two cloths while your thumb is in the way. Mother was busy helping my sisters with their laundry and the food was not prepared. I had nothing to do so she called my name Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Mother Essay : My Mother My Mom Moms are the most special and pure beings in the world. They are that being who gives everything for love, for her home, for her children and grandchildren. The mother is such a blessed woman that she endures so many things for the sake of her children, while many times we are ungrateful to them, assuming that our mothers will always be there for us. When moms still there with you, it is fortunate to have her, because the kind of love she gives is the purest you can ever find. My mom, for example, is very special to me, since she has taught me how to live and how to value things in life. She has always been present at all times and has not spent a single day in which she has forgotten to give me her blessing. she is the one who...show more content... She always encourages me to work hard, stay focus and never give up. She has been a great example of how to be an excellent mother and wife. What I admire most about her is that when I was a baby she used to work everyday and I am surprised that she always had time for me and her work, I mean that working and taking care of a baby is very difficult. Everyday she gets up to work, to be sure that I have everything I need. She's a mother and wife focused on giving her family the best of her. If my family were in need, she would do whatever it takes to get what is needed. Another reason why my mother is very special is because she always makes space and takes time to go to my volleyball games. She sometimes has to drive three or four hours and stay in a hotel just to be present in my games. She gets really involved in the game, she cheers a lot, and she is my number one cheerleader. My mom sometimes takes goodies to treat my teammates. They all respect and love her because how she treats everyone on the team. She gets excited and has a lot of fun in my games. I'm thankful for what my mom has done for me. Everyday she's looking for different ways to improve my lifestyle. The sacrifices she has to make to help me move forward is something I will never be able to pay her back. There's nothing better than share with her my challenges and achievements. I always ask God to bless me allowing me to have Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. My Mother Values My mother Valerie Moore inspires me the most. She was born in the mid 70`s and happens to be the only child on her mother side. The values that my grandmother instilled in my mother are the same values and morals my mother taught her 3 kids growing up. My mother taught each of her kids not to lie, not to steal and not to cheat. She would constantly tell us to always think before we speak no matter what situation is at hand. My mother taught us early on in life never take anything without permission weather it was from a sibling, parent, teacher, friend or store without asking for it or paying for it because its disrespectful to the owner, the employees, and yourself. One good example I have is my brother worked at a local grocery store and one Friday while dropping him off we decided to do some shopping, throughout the shopping trip my sister and cousin decided they would go against the things we were taught and steal a purse full of candy. After we made it home my mom noticed the 2 of them were eating candy. She asked several times who gave you all candy? Where did this come from? After what seemed like hours of questioning them they finally decided to tell the truth and let my mom know the stole the candy from the store my brother worked at. My mother asked for the remaining candies that weren't open she gathered us up and w headed back to Piggly Wiggly. Once we entered the store my mom asked for the store manager and made the girls explained what they had done, the manage Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. My Mother As A Mother Almost everyone's role model is their mother, but all but for several different reasons. Many find their mother's compassion to be appealing. Others their mother's strength to be inspiring. Although mine encompasses those characteristics mentioned above, she's much more than that. Much more than a kind, compassionate, strong, and helpful person; she's all that – and more. With my mother's stories I have grown to know her flaws; both physical and emotional. Born in a town I admire her originality, wit, and worldview. But what I admire the most is her ability to not be as pessimistic as I tend to be, but to be realistic. I aspire to be her solely because of her wholehearted intention to seize the day, every day. For this reason, I would love...show more content... With one bite of the sweet yet spicy food will cause my lips to pucker Delicious home cooked meals prepared by the overworked hands of hardworking women, who like the wandering lady on the corner who sells artesanГa, are just trying to make a living. After such an eventful morning, I would go down to the creek my mother constantly speaks about filled with not only countless memories, but with various wildflowers that appear to be almost waving at me because of the strong hot winds. As the time goes by, I would get to witness the gorgeous sunset with clouds edged with pink and gold where my mother spent her childhood afternoons. On my way back I would notice cops roaming the streets, just as she said, and even though everyone is poor and struggling the fajita manages to always be on the grill while the accordion bangs on speakers and ladies dance with their husbands shaking their body as if the music came within them. Witnessing this makes it hard to even imagine that for these people there is never enough money, just work and work. Even though that is the reality, they manage to find pure joy out of everything just like mother. Not only will IпёЏ visit the wonderful places my mother has often spoken about, but I would love visit the family that IпёЏ have yet to meet. By doing so, will result in my aunts rushing towards me commenting on our undeniable resemblance. Point out our similar face features; a visual representation of my mother's early years. • 6. Admire My Mother Maybelys Avalos ENC1101 Oct.26, 2017 My Abuela, Nory Let me tell you about wonderful women that not only raised me but my mother. This person is someone I admire and hope to be like her someday. My Abuela, Nory touched the heart and soul of everyone that met her, but none more so than me. She has always been there for me and myfamily. My Abuela has taught me many valuable things in life and hopefully, she will continue to do that. Nory is important to me because she knows how to cook, she knows how to have fun, and she's the most confident person I have ever seen. First of all, Nory is an exceptional chef. We all know how amazing a grandma can cook especially if she's Hispanic. They know the recipes from the old world and can recreate them perfectly. When we try to copy their masterpieces we find that we still fall short. No one can measure up to my grandma. This 5 foot 3, 65–year–old beast of a woman can make you taste heaven in every meal that she prepares. I have always loved baking but I found it fascinated when I would watch my grandma cook. She always has more than two shoves one plus the rice cooker and the microwave. If you have ever seen how busy a five–star restaurant kitchen is on a weekend then I'm sure you can picture just how busy the kitchen is, except in this case its only one master chef. Her short auburn hair is all over the place, the sweat on her face shows just how much she has worked and you can never forget her signature mismatched socks. • 7. The Most Influential Person Who I Admire The person who I am going to write about, is also the most influential person who I admire greatly, my mother. My mother, a single parent has raised two children for the past thirteen years without the help of our father. Being a single mom, she has been the one who has supported me throughout my childhood, both in the good and bad times. I personally feel the knowledge I have gained from the wisdom and skills she has taught me during the past will only benefit me in the years to come. There have been times when I was down due to one reason or another, and with mom being the nurturing mother she is, could sense I needed help. Instead of just giving me her direct opinion, we would discuss several resolutions to resolve a situation. This motivates me, to become a better person by being rational and consider other alternatives, to think outside the box and come up with a better way for all. My mothers' work ethic is a powerful influence on me as well. After she became a single parent, my mother had to find a full time job to support my sister and me. Having gone without at times to provide for two small children, she has inspired me to realize that I can support myself if needed. She calls this being the "positive self" as my mother says; meaning I can make positive decisions to support an action in a difficult situation. This encourages me to become self–sufficient, to work for what I want, and to reassure myself that I can succeed in life on my own. I admire my Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 8. It took me a few years to realize what an extraordinary influence my mother has been on my life. She's the kind of person who always has time for her kids, always interested in learning something new, would sacrifice herself for her family, and is easily the strongest woman in my eyes. Growing up, I know I haven't been the best son in the world but if you were to ask her, she would say otherwise. Looking back, my mom is the most positive and important influence on my life. My mother actually is an ordinary woman but in her tiny appearance shines an extraordinary fortitude, perseverance, an altruistic soul and is very kind hearted. The kind of mother who brought me up with her whole kindly heart, the kind of persistent woman with...show more content... Growing up in a poor family, my mother must work very hard to earn her living since an early age. Due to shortage of material condition, she herself has trained an extremely strong will and ability to sedately deal with each difficulty and stand up to move on from her failures. I vividly remember the calamity poured down on my family when my mother' business went bankrupt. We had to sell our house and leave for another town to begin from "zero". This critical time made every member in my family really upset. But it was my mother, the persistent and brave women, strongly stood up and started over again after this great adversity. Each of her failures, her grief, and the way she overcame difficulties to move on has made an indelible impression in my mind, leaving me with precious lessons about the values of strong wills and indefatigable endeavors to firmly confront with setbacks and bravely conquer them. There was time when I felt that there was no more hope in life, that I felt very weary and was about to give up everything. After the constant moving from one place to another and my grades slipping down the drain I was unable to deal with any small problems and felt embarrassed to meet my relatives and friends. However, that was also the time that I acquired from my mother how to learn from her mistakes and developed my own set of tools to take more lessons from them to realize the proper meanings of determination. • 9. My Mom Research Paper Heroes come in many shapes and sizes, like the iconic heroes we see on the big screen, for example, Batman and Superman, or normal everyday heroes, like a doctor or a firefighter. But I think that the biggest hero is the one that is closest to me, and that is my Mom. Everyday, I admire and look up to her, and others should too. My Mom teaches heroic life lessons that you and I should admire her for. A time this happened is when I first realized my Mom was my hero at the age of 5. We had just moved into a small town called Livingston, from New York City. So, naturally, I was very nervous that I would have no friends and was refusing to go to the first day of Kindergarten. I decided that I wouldn't move at all. But my Mom promised me I would have a good time, comforted me, and with a kiss, picked me up and carried me into the car, all while saying that my education is the most important thing in the world. Then, she has to rush over to catch the bus, for the hour long commute to New York City. She works late until eight, then takes the bus back and arrives home no earlier than nine. This has happened for the last five years, and when I was younger, her work schedule always confused me. She was never there anymore to play, or do arts and crafts with, or help me with my homework. Because of this, I started to do everything with my Dad. But as I got older, I finally understood that she was working as hard as possible to make money for our family, to let me have a good life. She was trying to make sure I could have food, clothes, and shelter, and that is heroic. And because of that, I always admire her, and if she was your heroic Mom, you'd admire her too for being so dedicated to working for your Get more content on HelpWriting.net

  • 12. Dear Mom Essays Dear Mom, You're probably thinking, What is this? I've been in college for four years, and I've never written you a letter. I've sent you a couple of emails that you never checked. Mostly I call, say hello, and hang up. That way you have to call me back, and my phone bill stays small. I'm writing because I have something I need to tell you, but I feel silly saying it. Also, I can be more organized this way. You know how weengineers like everything in its place. Anyway, I need to tell you this because of something tacked on my wall. It's something I believe in, but I've never done anything about it. It's a quote. It goes something like this. Don't waste a single moment you may spend with someone you love. Don't neglect to tell...show more content... Blood and guts just aren't for me. Also, I don't get your whole sports thing. Running, skiing, or biking for hours just doesn't appeal to me. And it makes you so tired! You're usually snoring on the couch before I leave for the night. So, OK. We aren't exactly two of a kind. Sometimes it shows. Many a long day together has ended in hostile silence. I'm not trying to put you down here. Actually, I'm trying to be a little funny. Actually, I'm avoiding the part that's hard for me: the part where I tell you why you are myrole model. The part where I tell you why I admire you so much. The sentimental part. Telling you this presents a problem. You're the touchy feely one. How am I going to do this? Fortunately, being a good engineering student has made me a good problem solver. Or maybe it's the other way around. Anyway, I can solve this problem. I have a bunch of reasons I admire you. I'll simply put them into a bullet list. Then I will elaborate. I love bullet lists. They're organized, succinct, and pleasing to the eye. Here's one for you: * Career * Friends * Sports * Independence

  • 14. My Reflection On My Mother Essay A mother is someone who can take the place of all others but no one can take the place of her. There are many different definitions you could use to describe your mother. My mother, Pam Krull, fits every one of those. Today I decided to pick the three that I thought was most important to me. I admire and aspire to be like my mother because of how supportive, how selfless, and how loving she is. My mom has gone through a lot to get where she is today. I will begin by telling you a little bit about my mom's background. My mom grew up outside of George with her parents, Harris and Bev Kaster, and her three siblings, Erik, Brad, and Kristy. She attended George High School when they were still Blue Jays. My mom was involved in a lot of different activities. She was in the play, large group and individual speech, a cheerleader, played the drums in band, was in student council, secretary of her class, REC club, band, and jazz band. In her free time she hung out with friends and her sister. She had a few jobs growing up also. She babysat a lot, worked at the library, and the dentist office. My mother also helped teach bible school, catechism, and attended youth group at Hope Reformed Church. My mother met my dad, Doug Krull when she was a junior in high school. They dated for a while and ended getting married. They then had three beautiful daughters, Allyssa, Megan, and Rebecca. My mom went to Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, to get her education Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Nicole Tighe Who I Want To Be Like When I Grow Up I admire my mom, Nicole Tighe, because she is dedicated and loving to everyone . One reason I admire Nikki Tighe is because she's very committed. First, she is exceedingly committed to our family, work and school. My mom is going back to college, going to work till 6:30 p.m., and helping raise a family of four; somehow she has time for every second of it, and never gives up or slows down. Not only is she committed, but also greatly compassionate, and I admire her for that. Another example on how she portrays compassion is by caring for others. My mom cares for others, she shows a motherly love to them; just to demonstrate and show that God loves them and so does she. I want to be just like Nicole Tighe, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 16. Essay on Appreciating Mom Growing Lily At age three I said "I love you mommy." At age seven I said, "Mom, stop kissing my cheek!" At age fifteen I say, "You're so annoying– I can't wait to move out!" At age eighteen, I'll be saying "I miss home." At age twenty–seven I'll be saying "I miss my mom." At age forty I'll be saying "I miss you so much; I wish you didn't have to go." My mom is the sun to my shine. My mother is a hard worker. She loves what she does for a living. She does arrangements for peoples' houses. I've seen her work from 7 a.m. to midnight at times. The hard work pays off but most of her earnings go to bills or groceries. She has the power to make you smile when you're down, make you cry by telling a story, keep you under control when you're too rowdy and get angry when needed. Family is an important thing to my mother. She loves to spend as much time as she can with them. She believes in the Hawaiian saying, "Ohanna: Nobody gets left behind." This past summer we went on a cruise ship. The whole side of my mom's family had gone. I enjoyed my time there, especially when we arrived in Cozumel, MX. One of the most embarrassing things that could happen to me frightened my mom to death. Purging is said to make you lose weight. The banging on the restroom door startled me knowing I would be caught. From that point on she took extra care of my health. Looking after what I ate, when I should exercise etc. When I was fourteen, my parents and I made a deal that if I lost twenty pounds, I would be able to get my first tattoo. She supported me with it, thus, me losing the weight. Not everyone grows up with manners. I have a high tolerance for respect. Growing up going to church every Sunday due to my mom helped me adapt to maturity. Not that I'm highly bipolar, but I do lose my temper really drastically. I've been taught by my mom to forgive and forget. Through the worst of her times that people have put her through; she forgives. She tells me I have the blood of my dad seeing as how I will always hold a grudge towards someone no matter what. I know my mom wants the best for her kids, Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 17. Admirable Characteristics Of My Mother It is a proven fact that people learn from the people that they surround themselves with. A person's life is spent acquiring habits, phrases, and mannerisms based on what they observe from the people around them. From the day someone is born, they begin learning and observing, and perhaps the most prominent aspect of most children's' lives during this learning process is their mother. There is not a single person in my life who has had a more significant impact on my life than my mother. This is not only because I learned everything from her when I was younger, but because of her many admirable attributes. Growing up, I recognized very early on that my mother had a great work ethic. Because of this, she has pushed me all my life to live up to my full potential. My mother is also the most selfless person I know; constantly pushing her needs and wants to the side to accommodate to what I, or anyone else needed. I have always looked up to my mom and I give her full credit for shaping me into the person I am today. One of the most admirable characteristics that my mother has is her great work ethic. I would not be as far in life as I am today if it were not for my constant observation of her determination in everyday life. When I was around six, she was going to school, working, and raising me. I remember specifically spending nights on the living room floor going over her flashcards with her to help her prepare for a test. At the time I wasn't really sure why I was reading Get more content on HelpWriting.net

So, my mom is the best person to have around no matter the problem is and that is what I admire the most about her. Over the years, I have had some tough times and my mom has been my rock. The worst time that I can remember is when my great–grandmother and great–grandfather passed away within months of each other. • 19. I Admire My Mother Essay When you look at my family right now, you can see that everyone is separated from each other. My mom and sister live in the states, my other sister lives in the Philippines, and I live here on Saipan with my father. My mother is the kind of person that can voice her opinions, one that can speak to people, and someone who can find a way through any situation. These are some of the reasons I admire my mother deeply. When you look at my mother, she is a lady of Asian descent who seemingly has a quiet and menacing aura. One thing I admire about my mom is the fact that she can speak her mind out, whether it was hurtful to one or not. I recall a time when we were at a big mall with a seemingly endless vast of clothing, which seemed to be Macy's clothing shop if I recall correctly. We then entered the faded sliding door in which the intoxicating smell of sweet perfume assaulted my nostrils; the smell was extremely thick it seemed as if you could see the waft of perfume. This scent caused my mother to say "The smell here is horrid", and the staff working there looked at my mother wondering "who was this lady who just insulted the...show more content... During those adventurous trips I seem to notice that people often spoke to her. I remember going to Managaha and my mom just stepped into a boat and asked a man to take us to Managaha, and he did. Apparently my mom was his first aid instructor, so he gave us a free ride there and back. I saw the glittering ocean and I smelled the fresh salty breeze, it was almost as if you could taste the air of salt. The ocean was a magical place, after we stayed at Managaha for a bit we returned home. • 20. My Mother : The Admirable Human Being The Admirable Human Being As Stevie Wonder once said, "Mama was my greatest teacher, a teacher of compassion, love and fearlessness. If love is sweet as a flower, then my mother is that sweet flower of love." For years and years mothers have been known as the caretakers. Even in the olden days, mothers would stay at home to cook, to clean, and to take care of their children. In theory, the average mother still posses a portion of these jobs. Despite this, my mother goes way above what the average mother would do to impact her life and the lives of others. Therefore, the person in which I admire the most, in the world, is my mother. I admire my mother the most in the world because she puts those she loves the most before herself, my mother comforts me when I need assistance, and she stays strong even when life throws you curve balls. My mother is the person I admire the most in the world because she always puts other individuals before herself. My mother constantly demonstrates this during any type of daily activity. For example, my mother, after arriving home from her eight hour nurse shift, will set down her bags and begin to cook dinner. Work shoes still on. Work bags waiting to be unloaded. Work updates for her to check. In the meantime, my brother and I will be working on homework, and my father will be helping out with the house chores. Once the dinner is made, my mother will help everyone scoop up their food. When everyone has their food, my mother Get more content on HelpWriting.net
