EVENTS & MARKETING COORDINATOR
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Events and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for
planning and executing marketing campaigns and events.
Responsibilities include:
Lead the marketing team in the planning, execution and assessment of key Specialized owned
and sponsored events. Assist Marketing Manager in development of the marketing budget, event
spend and promotional product within the allocated marketing budget
Manage relationships with key stakeholders
Contribute to event strategy by researching new events and activations for Specialized sponsored
events
Lead logistics and warehouse operations for the Specialized activation truck for Specialized and
sponsor events
Marketing team leader for the women’s brand through Specialized campaigns, events and our
retail network
2. Key achievements:
Managed key areas of the MY16 Specialized Retailer Event held in Morgan Hill, USA including
registration, transfers to and from San Francisco International Airport and the event schedule for
130 Retailers.
Successfully implemented a retail event strategy, which included working with retailers to
develop local event plans, templates & tools. Coordinated from Specialized Head Office, 10 local
retail marketing events in 2014/15 were conducted and post event assessment indicated sales
during these events increased on average by 2%
Development of #HealthyCatchUps initiative. 3000 likes and hashtag engagement across Twitter,
Facebook and Instagram over a 6 month period and adopted by Specialized Global.

EVENTS & SBCU (Specialized Education Department) COORDINATOR
As a key team member of the Events and Education Department, some of the responsibilities
included contributing to the Specialized Product Launch, Press Launches, Tour Down Under, SBCU
Registration, as well as multiple internal meetings held in Melbourne.
Responsibilities include:
Assist Sales Representatives and Retailers with SBCU class bookings
Manage expense reports and budgets in a timely manner
Manage all registration processes for SBCU classes including catering, schedule, airport transfers,
and guest list
Coordinate events and assists with planning and execution of major company events
Coordinate logistics for events, run sheets, MC notes, multiple tasks with multiple departments
and stakeholders
Key achievements:
Identified areas of improvement with the SBCU classes including contracting a new caterer for all
lunch and dinner meals
Working with the SBCU team and marketing team to streamline the registration processes,
creating a new form to make it easier for Retailers to register for classes
Working closely with the design team to create ‘Test the Best’ marketing collateral that included
posters, DL cards and social media tiles for Retailers to use when promoting their event

As a Professional Cyclist, I raced the European professional circuit at the highest level (UCI),
competed at the highest level in the USA and in the Australian NRS series. I rode and captained the
