Take time out to reconnect with Mother Nature. We are one and the same. The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it and its us people. We don't have society if we destroy our environment. We should love our Mother Nature
2. Nature- Everything humans have needed to
survive, and thrive, was provided by the natural world
around us: food, water, medicine, materials for shelter,
and even natural cycles such as climate and nutrients.
3. What is importance of nature?
*The importance of nature it brings
people huge emotional value, it delivers a
wide range of valuable goods and
services that are of practical benefit to
society, and much of the emotional and
practical value that it generates has
financial value which contributes to the
economic performance of the
philippines.
4. *Nature also help to the people who are
stress. Exposure to nature not only
makes you feel better emotionally, it
contributes to your physical wellbeing,
reducing blood pressure, heart rate,
muscle tension, and the production
of stress hormones.
5. HOW CAN WE SAVE OUR NATURE?
TO SAVE OUR NATURE WE SHOULD FOLLOW THE
WAYS.
6. Composting- is a simple and inexpensive way
to deal with your organic waste. You can
compost most organic materials, although
you should avoid putting meat, bones,
cheese, cooking oils and fish into your
compost bin. These materials take a very
long time to break down and may attract
unwanted pests.
7. *Protect Habitats and Encourage Biodiversity-
Plant a variety of flowers. Insects will be
attracted to nectar-rich flowers, and birds will
eat the flower seeds when food is scarce in
winter. This will also help to disperse these
seeds to other areas.
Plant some shrubs and trees to provide shelter
for animals. Some bushes will also bear fruit,
which will be a valuable source of food
during winter.
8. Reduce Water Pollution-
*Reduce the amount of pesticides, herbicides, and
chemical fertilisers you use. Remember that if you use
these poisonous sprays on your driveway, lawn or in
your flowerbeds, traces of them will drain into rivers
and ditches when it rains.
*Keep any chemical substances, including household
cleaning products, in a sealed container to avoid
contaminating the water supply.
9. Reduce Waste Going to a Landfill
- Reduce! Reuse! Recycle! The less rubbish you
produce, the less you have to send to a landfill.
If you don’t have green or brown bins at home, set up
your own recycling bins and take your rubbish to the
nearest recycling centre. You can separate them as
follows:
*Papers/ cardboards
*Plastics
*Glass
*Used batteries
*Used light bulbs
10. The beauty of nature can have a
profound effect upon our senses,
those gateways from the outer world
to the inner, whether it results in
disbelief in its very existence as
Emerson notes, or feelings such as
awe, wonder, or amazement
