Introduction & Objective
As someone who has a passion for gaining experience and seeking opportunities, I am
aware of how valuable work ethic, courtesy and keeping a level head can be; in not

Backwait/Server & Dining Associate (August 2011—April 2012)
• Brentwood Heritage Retirement Center – Brentwood, Tennessee
● Actively engaged in team-oriented tasks such as:
○ stocked serving stations with clean dishes and supplies
○ arranged and moved heavy furniture (tables, chairs, buffet
equipment)
○ assisted the elderly at mealtimes with standard service, as well
as attending to each individual’s needs including but not
limited to providing space and accessibility for dining, kept
track of specific dietary needs, and formed friendly
relationships to provide a safe and comfortable atmosphere
○ delivered food to hospital wing kitchen and to individual
apartments quickly and efficiently
○ bussed and reset tables at a fast pace replacing silverware and
cutlery and table linens as the single backwait on staff
○ managed the dining hall market register by keeping track of
food delivery receipts, selling items from the market
○ closed the dining hall and market leaving the workspace clean
and ready for next shift; vacuuming, resetting every table,
sanitizing workspaces and high traffic surface areas, double
checking doors, case display temperatures, and records for
security
2. Deli Clerk at Publix (August 2012—October 2013)
• Publix Shopping Center - Fieldstone Parkway, Franklin, Tennessee
● This position is fast-paced, work intensive and team-based, where
customers were provided with quick and friendly accommodating
service and the workspace kept sanitary far above state required
standards. Duties tended to included:
○ checked and rotated stock on sales floor
○ operated and maintained heavy machinery for safe and
responsible delivery of meat and cheese products to customers
○ prepared food by hand as per Publix guidelines
○ provided each individual customer with full attention and
welcoming service until all their needs were met
○ lead closing team in absence of management to ensure
company guidelines were followed, entire department prepared
for morning shift, machinery, equipment, floors and walls
cleaned and sanitized
○ documented and maintained case, shelf and cooler
temperatures to ensure freshness of products
