Abstract:
Team Perform is planning a prize auction for the Institute of Women’s Leadership. The event will be
located in Daniels Auditoriumon the Nichols College campus.The eventwill run on Thursday, November
5th from 6pm to 8pm. Students will visit educational booths that provide information that support IWL’s
purpose. Each booth will have a volunteerthat hands out a certain amount oftickets. The tickets are used
as monetary value to bid for the prizes. There are a total of 10 booths and 20 plus prizes.

Accomplishments Made by Team Perform Since 10/20:
1. Donations from Sodexo
a. Have to pay: plates, and cups
b. Free: lemonade and table clothes
2. Gathered information for booths
a. Kelley gathered information for the woman inventions booth,
b. Liz gathered information for the Lean In booth and the
Women in Sports Booth
3. Finalized prize list
4. Got cultural and donations from Susan Waymen
a. Donated Apple TV and funds for decorations
5. Brian Quinlin donated a roll of tickets and three shirts (small, medium,
and large) for prizes for the event
6. Created survey questions
7. Reserved location
8. Identify how many tickets each booth gives out
9. Picked our prize from the book store
10. Determine what prizes will be auctioned and what prizes will be raffled
11. Visited classes and got concrete volunteers

1. Finalize script for the event

a. Plan to talk to Nichols College men’s tennis team coach for
volunteer work
4. Finalize information for booths and make brochures to be approved by
client
5. Talk to Kathy Champaign about event set up
6. Talk to dining hall manager about using the pitchers for drinks and to
use water and ice
7. Gather the rest of the prizes
a. Talk to 88’s about prize donation
b. Check back with Panera about donations
c. Create baskets
8. Get one more roll of tickets
9. Get all 20-30 concrete volunteers.
