Skills: Customer service skills, interpersonal skills and veterinary specific skills. 21st-­‐ 25th July 2008-­‐ Bristol Zoological Gardens -­‐ Included interacting with members of the public and monitoring health of primates and mammals in Zona Brazil. This included cleaning housing, feeding animals and taking squirrel monkeys for health checks. Skills: Working in a public environment and interacting with the public, hard manual work, adhering to strict health and safety standards. Voluntary work: I helped set up and run the Reading University Macmillan Cancer Support fundraising team on campus and ran the Reading Half Marathon for Macmillan. This work included managing fundraising events, running the blog and social media accounts and attending meetings and events in the Berkshire area.
