Volunteer Experience
Alpha Phi Omega Service Fraternity Fall 2014 – Winter 2015
Participating in projects such as the development of a community center, provide meals, and clothes for
the homeless in Metro Detroit. Fraternity based around community development through group
involvement on local non-profit organizations.
Volunteer Instructor for PT seminar Winter 2015
Instructed seminar participants about the ligaments within the knees as well as the visceral
structures within the body. Trained the participants in the proper techniques of cadaver
dissection and instrument use.
Medical Relief Trip in San Salvador, El Salvador March 2014
Assisted with the construction of drainage systems in local villages, water purification project, and built a
schoolhouse. Spent free time bonding with local orphans and teaching them English.

probes in order to excise various anatomical structures from cadavers.

Hired as a teaching assistant for physiology labs. Responsibilities included preparing labs, participating in
the learning process by teaching students about physiological processes, and maintaining a clean lab
environment. Anatomy research is based around the gerontology of various arteries throughout several
cadaver bodies.
