Profile and objective - I would like to be an integral part of a visionary organization and be able to implement and
formulate strategic plans that will ensure the organizations growth. My high adaptability and motivation shall put me in
good stead to ensure that I bring forth divergent approaches towards executing the tasks, fulfilling all duties and
responsibilities assigned to me on the job. In this regard, I pride myself in not only meeting organisational goals but

Work Experience
Independent Research Consultant: Nov. 2012 - Present
Primarily engaged with legal advocacy with regard to issue areas such as transitional justice, human rights and governance.
Thus endeavouring to make relevant contributions in the interests of furthering civil awareness under certain umbrellas and
initiatives, for instance; the “Kenyans For Peace, Truth and Justice” (KPTJ).
Duties and responsibilities
Carrying out independent background research on various reports under the KPTJ umbrella.
Writing press statements anonymously to be edited and disseminated by the organisation to news outlets.
Assisted in carrying out due diligence regarding practices carried out during the 2013 General Elections'
implementation.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Kenya: Nov. 2011 – Feb. 2012
This is a governmental entity under the ambit of the Office of the President and headed by a Foreign Affairs Cabinet
Secretary as per the new Constitution adopted in the year 2012. It is charged with many liaison functions that include, but
not limited to; facilitating interstate relations between Kenya and her global partners, advising the President on rapidly
changing foreign policy, organising various state events and providing linkages between the different ministries within the
country.
Duties and responsibilities
Charged with clearance of Value Added Tax Forms for various organizations and government entities as part of
the Protocol Division.
Assisted in the organisation of state events.
Writing of press statements where applicable.
Acting as a Protocol Liaison to numerous Foreign Missions based in Kenya.
Information Technology User Support and customer relations.

Proven experience working in communications within a humanitarian, legal and developmental context.
Experience in carrying out research and analysis on civil advocacy, policy and market trends.
Experience in managing websites and social media platforms in a professional context.
Ability to create messages and shape information through press materials and social media communication.
