§ Taught English to 120 middle-school students from a public school in Otavalo, Imbabura for a period of 4 months in 2011. On
Saturdays, students reinforced grammar and vocabulary that was part of their regular English program.
§ Mentor, College Horizons Program. The program consists of scholarships awarded to underprivileged high-school students to
learn English. This program is a partnership between the U.S. Embassy in Quito and Benedict School of Languages. The
mentor supports the students so they stay in school and change their perspective about the future.
