2. • Australians waste 5.3million tonnes of food
per year
• 7.6 million tonnes of CO2e generated from food
waste disposed of in 2014–15 over the life of its
decay+
• $20 billion lost to the economy
• Only 6%* ofAustralia’s land is arable
• Continued reliance on landfill is
unacceptable.

3. “This material has strong fertilizer value, given
its high nutrient levels. That nutrient
status positions it in a similar category to
dynamic lifter and it should be used in the
same fashion”
Dr.Declan McDonald, Senior Soil
Scientist at SESL Laboratories
re-purpose
4. SoilFood™ Testing
Extensive lab testing and pot trials
carried by SESL showed conclusively that
the deployment of SoilFood™ improves
soil health and promotes vigorous plant
growth at varying application rates.
The tests also demonstrated the
pathogen-free status of SoilFood™
underliningits stabilityand safety for
handlingand security for soil application.

SoilFood™ has an RRO and RRE issued by EPA NSW for land application
9. This simple and proven process reduces food waste
volume by 85%, sterilizes the remainder and
converts it to nutrient-rich organic fertilizer with
properties similar to “blood and bone”. We call it
SoilFood™
Systems range from 20 kg per day to many tonnes
per day and usually installed right where the food
waste is generated.
The process takes 8 to 10 hours, requires no
additives – NO water, NO sawdust, NO enzymes –
and can be used every day with no “lay days”.
GHG reduction is as much as 90% while leachate
is eliminated altogether.
