12. First European
Galileo-ready smartphone.
Galileo is the navigation system developed by the
European Global Navigation Satellite Systems
Agency (GSA). Galileo is 100% interoperable with
GPS and Glonass, which will allow more accurate
and reliable positioning.
Galileo allow positions to be determined more
accurately even in high-rise cities and rural areas,
and will also offer several signal enhancements
making the signal more easy to track and acquire
and more resistant against interference and
reflections.
Also the TTFF (Time to First Fix) will be affected
positively by Galileo system
The complete Galileo constellation will comprise
30 satellites spread evenly in 2020. 14 satellites
will be part of Galileo constellation by the end of
2016.
