Editor's Notes
\n
ENLA is the Los Angeles County VOAD; it is called the Emergency Network of Los Angeles instead of the LA County VOAD because the partners wanted to emphasize the creation of relationships\n
Often, partnerships are created by two individuals, even though they are representing their organization or community. We can prevent loss of these valuable relationships by sharing them with our community members; the relationship stops being dependent on two specific people\n
\n
if materials are already out there, we’re not writing anything new\nelectronic materials, printed materials, in-person training, videos, etc.\nwebsite with links to network of partner websites\n
learn about the community\nask what they want/need, how they learn\ntraining/education should connect what community members know to new knowledge\n
