2. As a Tool
• Jeopardy allows students to explore all of the content in a subject area,
while going at their own pace in a fun-competitive environment that tests
their individual knowledge, as well as collective knowledge of a particular
category.
• The use, of such a tool, would be exam cramming and at the end of a
book/chapter to ensure that the students are collectively grasping the
concepts of the material.

3. How to Use (As a class)
• Take the class and divide them into teams
(typically by rows or groups of 4) and pit them
against each other.
• Teams get the option to steal if first team gets
answer wrong.
• Team with the most points at the end, wins.
(Perhaps extra points or candy).
4. How to Use (Individual)
• Set students against themselves in an online
study guide.
• This sets it as a fun tool, and gets kids
motivated themselves.
• Have it record their results, and the top 3
students get a prize.
5. Universal Design
• Universal design, as we learned, is about getting students
to learn without knowing they are learning.
• Allowing students to teach themselves is how universal
design operates.
• Using Jeopardy, allows students to explore the material in a
safe-fun way, to get them to learn what they don’t know.
And then strive to learn it.
• This method goes at the student’s pace, allowing students
of all disabilities, and advanced learners to feel a
challenging and welcoming experience.
