4. This program discusses the analysis of the different tourist destinations and the role
of their cultural, social and physical features in attracting the visitors. There are
various places in this world which are famous for their different features and trends
and which are visited by the visitors the most. Different places have been discussed
which are popular in terms of tourist generators, generator of income and generator
of employment opportunities. It provides a basis for comparison between the
different destinations in relation with the social, cultural and physical features of the
places. The main purpose of this report is to identify the increasing trend so as to
analyse the direction for the activities or for the operations of the business of TUI
Group Hotels & Resorts which is conducting its business activities in various
Tourist destinations can be explained as the places where people visit for various
purposes. With the change in the environment, taste and preferences of people are
changing. A major change can be noticed in the tour and travel industry. People are
visiting different places for different purposes. These purposes can be for vacations,
holidays or due to work. These purposes results in increase in the flow of income of
a country where the number of visitors are high. The area of operation of tour and
travel industry is expanding which has resulted into increase in the income level of
the country. There are various tourist destinations and generators in the world which
are attracting the tourists towards tourists.

5. 1.1. In advising the Wilson family on decision-making by tourists, it is important to
consider the needs and preferences of each family member. Encourage open
communication and active participation from everyone in the family. Start by
brainstorming potential holiday destinations together and discussing the pros
and cons of each option. Take into account the interests and activities that
each family member enjoys. Consider creating a voting system where each
family member gets a certain number of votes to allocate to their preferred
destination. This allows for a fair and democratic decision-making process.
Additionally, research the destinations and gather information to ensure that it
aligns with the family’s budget and safety requirements. It’s also important to
be flexible and willing to compromise to ensure that everyone is satisfied with
the final choice. Overall, the key is to involve all family members in the
decision-making process and prioritize open communication and consensus-
building.

•Not all classrooms have four walls and travel is the best way to immerse yourself in
geography, history, culture, gastronomy, languages, biology … you name it. Travel
enriches the mind and educates us far beyond any textbook or travel guide. Not only
do curious travellers learn about different landscapes, languages and lifestyles;
glean fascinating facts while observing wild animals in their natural habitat; delve into
a region’s history and taste the local flavours; but they also learn about themselves
(and each other) along the way.
•Travel takes us out of our comfort zones and inspires us to see, taste and try new
things. It constantly challenges us, not only to adapt to and explore new
surroundings, but also to engage with different people, to embrace adventures as
they come and to share new and meaningful experiences with friends and loved
once. Whether you seek adrenaline and non-stop activity, or unapologetic siestas
and ultimate relaxation, travel gives us the opportunity to explore with an open heart
and an open mind

6. 1.2 Mr and Mrs Wilson have taken a adaptive decision-making approach by allowing
their children to decide about their next family holiday destination. This type of
decision-making involves actively involving all family members in the decision-
making process and considering their opinions and preferences. By giving their
children a role in choosing the destination, Mr and Mrs Wilson are empowering them
and valuing their input. This approach can enhance family dynamics, strengthen
communication, and foster a sense of responsibility and ownership among the
children. It also provides an opportunity for the children to develop decision-making
skills and learn about compromise and negotiation.
1.3I believe that Mr and Mrs Wilson were being innovative in deciding to fully
involve their children in a travel decision. By giving their children a voice and
allowing them to actively participate in the decision-making process, the Wilsons
are promoting a sense of inclusion and family unity. This approach can create a
memorable and meaningful experience for the whole family. It also shows that the
Wilsons value their children’s opinions and ideas, and encourages them to take
responsibility and initiative. Allowing children to be part of the decision-making
process can also foster their independence and critical thinking skills.

7. 2.1. Organizational change refers to the process of implementing new strategies,
structures, or procedures within a company in order to adapt to changing
circumstances or improve its overall performance. It involves making alterations to
the company’s existing systems, processes, or culture to achieve desired outcomes.
2.2. There are several organizational changes that a company in the travel and
tourism sector can consider during the Covid19 pandemic.
Operational changes: This involves modifying the company’s operational
processes to ensure compliance with health and safety guidelines. For
example, implementing contactless check-ins, enhancing sanitation
measures, and reconfiguring seating arrangements to allow for social
distancing.
Strategic changes: Companies may need to reassess their business
strategies and adapt to new market conditions. For instance, focusing on
promoting domestic tourism instead of international travel, partnering with
local businesses to offer bundled experiences, or offering flexible cancellation
and refund policies to attract customers.
Technological changes: Investing in technology can help streamline
operations and improve customer experience. For example, implementing
online booking systems, virtual tours, or digital marketing strategies to reach
potential customers who are unable or hesitant to travel.
Workforce changes: Companies may need to make adjustments to their workforce to
align with the changing demands of the industry. This could involve implementing
remote work policies, cross-training employees to handle multiple roles, or hiring
specialized staff to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

8. 2.3. Overcoming resistance to change caused by the Covid19 global pandemic
requires a thoughtful approach and effective communication. Here are a few ways an
organization can address resistance:
Clear communication: Provide transparent and timely communication to
employees about the reasons for the change, its potential benefits, and how it
aligns with the company’s goals. This can help alleviate fears and
uncertainties.
Employee involvement: Involve employees in the decision-making process
and seek their input and feedback. This can create a sense of ownership and
reduce resistance to change.
The emerging trends would definitely assist the industry in meeting the
expectations of the customers and to provide them with the quality services

9. 3.1 Based on the information provided, it can be argued that Mr Cyril RAMAPHOSA
exercised Theory Y leadership. Theory Y suggests that leaders believe that
employees are self-motivated, responsible, and capable of making decisions. Mr
RAMAPHOSA engagement with the public and his encouragement for stores to
provide protective incentives can be seen as a belief in the responsibility and
capability of individuals to protect themselves and their loved ones. Additionally, his
continuous communication with the public about changes and restrictions shows a
belief in the importance of keeping people informed and involved in decision-making.
3.2. Mr Cyril RAMAPHOSA has demonstrated a transformational leadership style
throughout the Covid-19 crisis. Transformational leaders inspire and motivate their
followers to achieve higher levels of performance and personal growth. Examples of
this leadership style can be seen in Mr RAMAPHOSA ability to communicate
effectively with the public, providing clear guidance and encouraging unity in the face
of the pandemic. His emphasis on protecting the well-being of citizens and creating a
safer environment for learners in schools also reflects a transformational leadership
approach.
3.3. Throughout the Covid-19 crisis, Mr Cyril RAMAPHOSA has revealed several
leadership characteristics. One characteristic is his ability to communicate effectively
and provide clear guidance to the public. He has consistently informed the public
about changes and new rules, ensuring that citizens are aware of the measures in
place to combat the pandemic. Another characteristic is his empathy and concern for
the well-being of individuals. By encouraging stores to provide protective incentives
and closing schools to create a safer environment, he has shown a commitment to
protecting the health and safety of the population.

10. In conclusion, we can say that tourism is a very productive activity both for the
tourist and the government. As they support each other simultaneously. Also,
the government should consider improving the conditions of the country as
more and more number of tourist visit
The hospitality industry provides the good service for their client with their
variety service. But still this industry needs to improve their service to archive
the target of their industry. If they improve all this the customers will get happy
and will enjoy with service.
Hospitality and Tourism focuses on the management, marketing and operations
of restaurants and food services, lodging, attractions, recreation activities, and
conventions. Conclusion. The hotel industry operates in a dynamic
environment and is highly dependent on satisfying the customers’ changing
needs to secure its successful business .The emerging trends would definitely
assist the industry in meeting the expectations of the customers and to provide
them with the quality
