2. INTRODUCTION
• Common name- Phosphate of potassium
• Prover- Dr H C Allen
• Formula- K2HPO4
• INTRODUCTION-This is one of the organic tissues
salts introduced by Dr Schussler.This medicine has
been proved by several authorities from time to time
but proving by provers union of Chicago under the
direction of H C Allen is notable one.One of the
greatest nerve remedies.

3. SPHERE OF ACTION
• The main action of this drug is on animal fluids &
tissues,notably of the brain,nerves,muscles and
blood cells.
• PATHOGENESIS
• Kali phos acts upon the brain & nerve cells upon
the corpuscles of the blood affecting the
nutrition,causing irritation followed by
inflammation & lastly moderate degree of
degeneration.

4. CONSTITUTION
• Physical make up- Anaemic chlorotic & delicate
persons,worn out from long suffering.
• Temperament- Nervous Temperament
• Relation with heat & cold- Chilly patient
• Miasm- Psora.

5. Guiding symptoms
• Conditions arising from want of nerve
power,neurasthenia,mental and physical
depression are wonderfully improved by this
remedy.
• It corresponds to state of adynamia and
decay,gangrenous conditions.
• Great prostration runs through the remedy.
• Discharges are very offensive,putrid.
• Headache of students and those worn out by
fatigue.
• Right sided neuralgia relieved by cold application.

• Tongue coated brownish,like mustard. Excessively
dry in the morning.
• A nervous gone sensation at the pit of the stomach.
• Diarrhoea :Foul,putrid odor,caused by fright with
depression and exhaustion.
• Menses-too late or too scanty in the pale irritable
sensitive,lachrymose females.
• Sleep- sleeplessness after worry or excitement from
nervous causes.somnambulism, walking in sleep in
children.

with weakness and exhaustion of the nerves.

• GASTROINTESTINAL SYMPTOMS
• MOUTH- Stomatitis ,breath offensive,foetid,gums
spongy and receding.toothache with easily

mustard, excessively dry in the morning.speech
slow & inarticulate,grinding of teeth.

• THROAT-Throat very dry,desiresto swallow all the
time.hoarseness and loss of voice, gangrenous sore
throat, paralysis of vocal cords.
• STOMACH- A nervous gone sensation at the pit of
stomach,feels seaside without nausea.vomiting of
sour,bitter food and of blood.empty,gnawing sensation
relieved by eating.indigestion with nervous depression.
• RECTUM- Diarrhoea caused by fright with depression &
exhaustion,stool foul,putrid, diarrhoea while eating,
prolapsus recti. dysenter y stool consists of pure
blood,patient becomes delirious,rectum burns and
feels sore.

• MALE- Nocturnal emissions,sexual power
diminished impotence and painful emissions at
night without erection.utter prostration and weak
vision after coitus.

females,irregular scanty almost black ,offensive
odor.amenorrhoea with depression of
spirit,lassitude and nervous debility.leucorrhoea
yellowish scalding acrid.
• BACK AND EXTREMITIES- Paralytic or rheumatic
lameness with stiffness after rest yet becoming
better by gentle motion.exertion or fatigue
aggravates.idiopathic softening of spinal
cord.patient has trouble in guiding himself,loss of
power of movement.
