Analytical Chemist I
 Primarily responsible for conduct of routine analytical work performed on pharmaceutical
products and medical devices primarily USP, EP, and JP compendia.
 Advanced chemistry testing Ex: HPLC, ICP, OES, ICP MS, GC, TLC, AA, Dissolution, Assays:
Potentiometric and Color, Karl Fisher, UV-Vis, FTIR, Wet chemistry testing (Limit tests,
inorganic/organic impurities, ID tests etc.).
 Plays a key role in R&D developing dissolution and ICP methods by running all necessities
for feasibility, method validation, and verification.
 Learns new special projects and techniques from new clients to create more business.
 Communicates effectively with managers, team leads, trainers and peers,
 Participate as needed in departmental efforts directed toward equipment maintenance,
calibration, qualification and repair.
 Assists in the resolution of routine, as well as non-routine technical problems.
 Assists in formal training of lab Personnel on topics such as GMP, safety, and new employee
