Public speaking skills are very important to anyone that aspires to be a politician. Barack Obama, the president of the United States, is known for
being a very good public speaker. In fact, Richard Greene of the Huffington Post ranked Barrack Obama as "America's third greatest presidential
orator" (Greene). Throughout this paper, I will be analyzing the speech delivery and the organizational structure of Barrack Obama. The specific
speech that I will be analyzing is the speech given by President Obama at the 2012 White House Correspondents' Association Dinner. In addition to

There was humor mixed in with a list of his greatest accomplishments as president. His conclusion also contained the only serious part of his entire
speech. Obama's conclusion ended his speech perfectly. He let his sense of humor and personality shine, made sure that the audience had a lasting
image of his accomplishments, and showed that he could be very serious if he needed too. President Obama's organization was excellent, but great
organization is only one part of a great speech. Delivery is just as important as organization when giving a speech. If a speaker doesn't appear
confident and professional, than the speaker's credibility may be questioned, and the goal of the speech may not be accomplished. President Barack
Obama's delivery is his biggest strength. From the moment he stepped on the stage, it was obvious that he was extremely confident. He made sure
that he visually scanned the audience and maintained good eye contact. His gestures seemed natural and appropriate. There was very few noticeable
filler words, and although it was evident that he was reading from note cards, it was never a distraction. His voice was powerful, his pitch changed to
fit the current topic he was discussing, he perfectly timed his pauses between topics and jokes, and his facial expressions helped him connect with the
audience. Overall, Obama's delivery in this speech was extraordinary. Everything from his pitch, to his facial expressions were done for a specific
