Operate power and manual handling equipment to maintain integrity of the clients wells. Rig up, service
and maintain power and manual handling equipment at work site within client’s time specification.
Attend pre and post job briefings as instructed to ensure the communication of issues and information
is facilitated. Rig down equipment accordingly and in a safe and tidy manner. Provide a full account of
own and the rigs activity during the time spent at the work site in the form of a written report

Electro/Mechanical Logging While Drilling Level 3 Technician September 2013 – December 2014
Main duties perform cleaning, inspection, fault finding, maintenance and testing of all LWD down hole
product and complete all associated documentation including tagging, AIRT etc. Perform calibrations &
verifications as required including: Gamma Calibrations, IDS QC Rolls, Neutron & Density Calibrations,
/ M.F.R Air Hangs and associated documentation. Perform Lithium Battery Re Staves and associated
documentation. Perform Pulser disassembly & assembly replacing sub components including Main
Valve, Control Valve and flow diverter and complete associated wet testing and documentation.
Perform basic corrective maintenance as required pre and post job and ensure both electronic and hard
copy systems are maintained, assist in performing failure analysis.

During my apprenticeship I attended Clinterty Centre where I passed my SVQ Plant Maintenance Level
2 & 3. I also passed SVQ Units in:

Once my apprenticeship was completed I was immediately promoted to field service engineer
where I would repair machines on site, ordering specific parts, dealing with customers and abiding
to site rules including wearing correct P.P.E and support the Foreman Service Engineer in the
effective running of the Depot Workshop within the region.
