Profile
Currently, I am a facilitator for Liberty Group Enablement. I have been in the Learning and
Development (L&D) environment since 2006. Over this period, I have had the opportunity to
work in 2 business units of the Liberty Group which has provided me a wide and sound
understanding of the company. I am an adaptable, eager and diligent individual with a
sense of urgency possessing a broad range of experience in L&D. Combined with my
excellent communication skills and my ability to relate with people at all levels, I have the
strong ability to simplify processes as I have worked on a wide range of projects over the
years. By nature, I enjoy engaging with people and building relationships and this has
allowed me to develop the strong ability to be resourceful and to collaborate with
stakeholders in order to achieve business goals. My previous career and my project
management experience in L&D, have also enhanced my ability to analyze and to problem
solve information and situations. To demonstrate that L&D does contribute real value to the
bottom line, I have closely engaged with various stakeholders in the business in order to

Title of Research Project:
The purpose of this research project is to establish the Impact of Make Learning Happen by
Design. Historically, a traditional learning approach has been used.
However, it is not able to adequately address increasing pressures on the learning function.
In order for organizations to increase their competitive edge and their market share, L&D
has to shift its approach in equipping employees with the specific skills in order to their jobs
competently.
A new concept called Make Learning Happen by Design has become a method which L&D
practitioners are employing to achieve the desired state of performance. It aims to create
more responsive solutions which have greater reach, flexibility and effect. It is therefore
intended to boost performance so that the learning function has a direct impact on the
bottom line of the organization.
