1. Duties & Responsibilities:
A - Facilities and Equipment
• Manages building operations, repairs & maintenance and construction
work
• Conducts inspection to determine requirements for renovation &
rehabilitation
• Requests, assembles and analyzes contract bids. Submits bids and
recommendations to Senior Pastor
• Handles and/or prepares documentary requirements for projects
undertaken by contractors and ensures work done is in accordance with
specification, schedule, government requirements, lessor’s rules and
regulations, and approved budget
• Keeps building plans and blueprints filed in proper order
• Interprets and assesses data gathered from inspections, make necessary
reports and recommendation and implement appropriate solutions
• Creates project time line and researches expected costs
• Identifies and orders/purchase appropriate supplies needed for repairs
and renovations
• Maintains a property list of tools and equipment
• Authorizes and monitors in and out gate pass for materials and equipment
• Ensures all equipment borrowed or used in external activities are returned
in good condition
• Supervises, organizes staff job responsibilities and monitors activities of
technicians to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services
• Ensures safety of the facility’s users: maintains fire-prevention systems,
ensures emergency exits are visible and exit signs stay lit and verifies that
posted maps and signs display the appropriate emergency information
and evacuation procedures
• Closely coordinates with the event coordinator in church external activities
and or events which needs assistance, like set-up of equipment, furniture,
and the likes, transportation, etc.
• Conducts ocular inspection of the facility for church external
activities/events
• Provides input on matters of safety, comfort and energy conservation and
cost reduction
• Reviews leased contracts, security and housekeeping services contracts
and gives recommendation accordingly
• Develops and implements preventive/predective maintenance schedules
• Creates policies and procedures with regards to facility usage and
concerns
B – HOUSEKEEPING
• Oversees maintenance staff to ensure that the facility is kept clean and
maintained
• Monitors ordering of supplies and ensures that supply closets are stocked
2. • Monitors repairs and storing of cleaning equipment
• Oversees scheduling and assignments of housekeeping personnel
• Recommends and requests service provider contractor for housekeeping
personnel’s training if necessary
C – SECURITY
• Manages and monitors the security staff directly or the security staff
supervisor
• Oversees scheduling and deployment of security personnel
• Provides security and assistance to finance department in securing tithes
and offering
• Makes sure all security system equipment (electronic door access, one
way fire exit doors, CCTV, etc.) are operational
• Authorizes CCTV access
• Recommends and requests security personnel contractor for security staff
training if necessary
D - IT and Technical
• Oversees implementation of internet, telephony, and audio-video-lights
cleaning and preventive maintenance on a weekly, monthly, quarterly,
semi-annually, and yearly basis
E - Room Management
• Oversees the room management software - Events Management Online
and all logistical and manpower needs for all booked events
