PERSONAL STATEMENT
A recent graduate from University, graduating with a 2:1 in English Language and
Drama (BA HONS) my degree demonstrates my skills in communication both verbally
and written. Through my success in my degree and my achievements in varied types
of assignments, I demonstrate that I am a capable, confident individual who works
successfully and efficiently towards meeting deadlines and successfully completing
projects. My degree also helps demonstrate how well I work as part of team and both
individually as my course has a massive element of group work which I have excelled
in. I have also excelled in working individually as well as being part of, and leading a
team effectively. Asides from all the skills and qualities my degree has given me and
shown that I can offer, my hobbies and activities outside of academia demonstrate
that I am a passionate, driven individual with confidence in working alongside and
with people. Through my work in business and in theatre companies I demonstrate
just how capable I am at fitting into a group of people and working efficiently within
that role. I am also a person used to responsibility which is proven through my role as

skills to the work place. For example.
• My highest grades throughout my university career have been on projects and
presentations in which I had to confidently present and create an idea. Through this, I
show how capable I am at presentation as well as working amongst groups of people
