In my past experience in managing, tutoring and assisting, I have gained valuable experience in providing
high levels of teaching and development in target driven, pressurized environments. I have resolved
obstacles in the varying work I have done whilst remaining professional, resilient and adaptable. I
achieved this through being creative and knowledgeable about my work, the services I have taught to
fellow colleagues and remaining open-minded and aware of peoples different backgrounds and cultures
when writing and producing ambitious work. I also remain empathetic and know how to negotiate
between different disciplines of work, whether that involves interpreting Chinese into English (and vice
versa) or communicating and managing people of a different primary language (English and Cantonese);
achieving a positive resolution. I am looking for a challenging role where-in I can learn new skills and
further develop existing ones. English is a language that I have a passion for. It has interested me ever
since Middle School where I was recognized as having a talent for languages, being praised by many
teachers. I cherish the time I have and always remain productive by focusing on higher-priority tasks
which involve learning, writing and researching. I believe the traits I have would be highly desirable for a
Marketing role and I look forward to discussing this further.

During my work doing private tuition as a Chinese Teacher, I learnt the following.

Due to my experience in interpretation, I worked as an Interpreter for an online TV station.
 Translated transcripts to be used in productions.
 Aided the English writing of the production briefs.
 Interpreted English speakers language into Chinese for the station.

3. French Language Training (Beginner)
Hobbies and Interests
I adore storytelling, particularly in writing and in film. I especially like American television and film, such
as Undercover Boss and Avatar. Chinese cuisine is also an element of China I wish to further explore
and experiment with. I love food and have a passion for cooking and would love the opportunity to
immerse myself in the traditions and recipes that are present in modern day China. Also, I love
badminton and running. I regularly take part in the Badminton Club, playing and promoting the club to
attract more members and to create a good natured and competitive community. English is another
passion of mine. I am an active member of the English Corner and help to organize events. Such as
English speaking competitions and English speaking gatherings. I believe that improving my English will
help open my eyes and my mind to the world. This is important to me because I adore traveling. I
haven't been abroad yet, but if given the opportunity I would take the chance.
