I am a highly capable individual who thrives to work in an energetic and challenging environment, takes

AppliedLinguisticsstudentsand newMA AppliedLinguisticsstudents.Thisconferenceinvolved a Q&A time,
and was an opportunityforthe oldstudentstopresenttheirMA dissertationsorbestassignmenttothe new
students.Thisexperience taught me how to arrange academic conferences, understand the importance of
organizedadminworkandto gainconfidence inhelpingandadvisingnew students. It also taught me that it
isimportant to build a strong and positive rapport with the students, and to create a positive, enthusiastic
and welcoming atmosphere.

On the CELTA course, I gained6 hoursteaching experience and observed qualified teachers. As this was an
intensive,full-time,one monthcourse itwasnecessaryforme tobe highlyorganized, manage my time well
and take in all the beneficial points which would help me succeed. I was able to put my language skills,
linguistic background and academic experience to use and use these points to my benefit and success. I
learntaboutthe importance of goodcommunicationskills,gradedlanguage andunderstandingconfirmation
whilstteachingforeignlearners.I was also able to understand and appreciate each learner as an individual
and aimto create exciting,beneficial andvariedEnglishlanguageclasses.Ialso learnt about the importance

ManchesterMetropolitanUniversity September2013 As an ex-MA andDegree student of MMU, I was asked to organize an internal conference involving old MA AppliedLinguisticsstudentsand newMA AppliedLinguisticsstudents.Thisconferenceinvolved a Q&A time, and was an opportunityforthe oldstudentstopresenttheirMA dissertationsorbestassignmenttothe new students.Thisexperience taught me how to arrange academic conferences, understand the importance of organizedadminworkandto gainconfidence inhelpingandadvisingnew students. It also taught me that it isimportant to build a strong and positive rapport with the students, and to create a positive, enthusiastic and welcoming atmosphere. CELTA September2013 On the CELTA course, I gained6 hoursteaching experience and observed qualified teachers. As this was an intensive,full-time,one monthcourse itwasnecessaryforme tobe highlyorganized, manage my time well and take in all the beneficial points which would help me succeed. I was able to put my language skills, linguistic background and academic experience to use and use these points to my benefit and success.
