Was responsiblefor the complex design using3D

USA. These projects required minimal engineering

Williams Field Services—Opal, Wyoming
Opal Substation
Senior Structural Designer;responsiblefor civil/structural
design for a 3.5-mile 230 kV transmission lineand a
230/13.8-kV substation for Williams Field Services.
Project was performed on an EPC basis,successfully
meeting a demanding scheduleto conform to air quality
deadline.Project required unique bus, equipment and
incominglinearrangements to avoid extensive
underground utility and archeological permit
requirements, includingseveral large(12 and 24 inch)
underground high pressurenatural gas pipelines which
transected the site. These pipelines required innovative
foundation and steel designs to bridgethe lines.
Performed steel structure design includingdeadends,bus
supports,breaker foundations,transformer oil
containment, and control house detailing.

Structural design supervisor.Responsibilities included
supervisingthedesign/CADD of numerous ongoing
maintenance upgrades which consisted of 2D/3D design
drawings of steel/concrete support structures,pipe
supports/runways,walkways,platforms and various
