1. Production Log:
The veryfirstthingI decidedtomake was a door.It was made verysimplyusingprimitiveshapes.I
got twoboxesof equal size andgave one an indentusingthe move tool andthe othera
matching/fittingextension.
2. Next,Idecidedtomake a table usingmore primitiveshapesandmodellingtechniques.Igota square
and flatteneditoutuntil itresembledthe topof atable thenmultishiftedthe bottomuntilithada
leg.
3. ThenI neededachair so,again,usingprimitive shapes(squares) Imade acouple of squaresand
modelledthemintopartsthatlookedlike bitsof achair,thenI simplystuckthemall together.Itired
makingitwithonlyone square but itkeptgoingwrongso I decidedtouse a range of squares.
4. A computerandall its componentswouldbe arequirementforanyself-respectingspace-station,so
I made themusingmore primitive shapes.The towerwasthe mostdifficulttotry andrecreate so I
decidedtojusthave the shape of a towerpresent.The monitorwasmade usingasquare and
multishiftingthe face inwardsslightly.The keyboardwasaflatsquare that I selectedthe areawhere
keyswouldbe andmultishiftingthemupwards.
6. I made a square and holloweditout;creatingatunnel thatwill be usedasa corridor.
7. I gatheredall of my currentobjects,parthe corridorsince itwasn’tfinished,then hit“q”on eachto
begintexturingthem.Thisisacollectionof everythingfullytextured.
13. AnotherthingImade for the room containingthe bathtubwasa toilet.Thistime Iusedtwosquares
and,a circle!Ihad a lotof trouble makingthiswhichgoestowardsexplainingit’s,rathershabbyand
bad designlook. Also,asyoucansee fromthisimage and the last couple;Itextured the insideof my
spacestation.Igave the ceilingandroof a transparentglasseffectsothe lightcouldshine through
makingeverythingvisible.
