Darryl Fuhrman founded the Lettermen of the USA organization in 2018 to bring together former college athletes from rival schools like Alabama and Auburn. The organization has grown to over 15,000 followers and gives back through volunteering during disasters, helping veterans, and community service. Key events organized by LotUSA include an annual "Autographs for Heroes" program that provides signed footballs to wounded veterans and a gala called "One Yard at a Time" that raises funds for veteran causes. Looking ahead, LotUSA aims to establish a "50 Yard Line House" to provide housing and services for homeless veterans.
