1. About Our Founder & Company
ria Musicholistics was founded by veteran, award-winning, composer &
producer Darryl S. Duncan in March of 2015.
Darryl is a creative, musical and entrepreneurial genius. He’s been
professionally involved in the music business since 1982. He began
composing at just 14 year old. After high school Darryl attended The
American Conservatory of Music in Chicago. His music gained
considerable recognition in Hollywood which led to his first major music
publishing contract with A&M records in 1986. Darryl then went on to sign a
contract with Warner Brothers in 1991. Darryl has written and produced for artists such as Michael
Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne, Chaka Khan, Earth, Wind & Fire and R. Kelly to name a few. He’s had several
charting singles, a number one record and his music has been featured in major motion pictures.
In 1998 Darryl founded GameBeat Studios, a provider of original music and sound design services for the
advertising, gaming & digital media industries. Darryl’s company has been responsible for the music and
sound effects in some of the gaming industry’s most popular titles, including John Madden Football,
Dance Dance Revolution, The Sims, Microsoft’s Zoo Tycoon and others. His advertising portfolio includes
TV and radio commercials for McDonald’s, Wal-Mart, Burger King, Toyota, Sears, The Illinois Lottery and
Kalahari Resorts to name a few. Darryl has won 13 prestigious advertising industry awards for his work.
While GameBeat still serves its advertising & gaming clients, Darryl has created an exciting new company
for the senior care community called Aria Musicholistics. Aria is a unique and revolutionary new service
that provides a “This Is Your Life” approach to memory care. While music is a part of Aria’s program,
it’s not the main focus. Some think of Aria as “music therapists”, but they are not. Aria is much more.
What makes Aria so unique is the level of personalization in the memory care sessions they conduct.
Imagine your elderly loved one seeing images of the high school gymnasium they once took gym class in,
or perhaps seeing images of the very neighborhood block they grew up on. Imagine them not just
hearing music, but hearing carefully selected songs that were their favorite as a teen, along with images
and history of the artists that performed those songs. If they were in the military, imagine them seeing
pictures they may have never seen before of the very solders they were stationed with. Imagine them

Darryl was inspired to start Aria Musicholistics by his own Grandmother who passed away in October of
