1. 1) As we learned in Chapter 9 an important characteristics to possess include
the following:

2) I think in order to be a spy it is important to have integrity, job knowledge,
and emotional stability.
3) A way to measure integrity is through integrity tests. On page 251 of our text
integrity tests are defined as “typically written tests that use multiple choice
or true/false questions to measure candidates attitudes about their
trustworthiness, honesty, moral character, and reliability. Job knowledge can
be measured by job knowledge tests. Job knowledge tests “measure a
candidates’ knowledge (often technical) required by a job. Lastly I feel it is
important to have emotional stability. Emotional stability can be measured
through the use of polygraph tests. Our text defines polygraph tests as
“measures and records psychological factors thought to be indicators of
anxiety.
4) I will evaluate the effectiveness by comparing the results that the tests show
to the success of the people I hire. I will keep track of all the results and see if
there is a correlation with good scores and good work ethic.
