1. A review of the type of product we are advertising – To make sure it is put on the
correct platform- Renvue
Review of the product we are advertising
I and my fellow colleagues Gurdeep and Waseem from Swift Inc have come up with a idea of
creating and advertising a new sports drink called Swift. We will be targeting this drink at
young teenagers with a love for sport and because most teenager’s purchase Sports/ energy
drinks more than any other. Our advertisement of this new brand of energy drink will last
between 30 to 60 seconds long. However as Our producers are working together with you
and your colleagues, We both need to make sure this advert appears on the correct
platforms for example Billboards, the internet, magazines and posters.
Discuss Revenue and funding
Will we some of the funding comes from the company itself. The other major source of
funding for the advert production will come from social networking sites such facebook,
twitter and You Tube as this will improve the marketing in the adverts production allowing it
to be streamed, shared and followed. The promoters of the product will be Tesco and ASDA
because of their selling of highly recommended sports drink. This will ensure we as a
company will have a frequent income. To promote to product to our target audience we will
make sure more revenue is produced by putting up posters of local buses to draw the target
audiences attention to the fact we advertising the newest brand of energy drink which is
highly ranked in the production of a new brand of energy drinks

2. Specialized producers we will need to in produce the advert- and the qualification
they need to carry these roles.
When producing this advert for the newest brand of energy drink “Swift” We as a company
need to think about employing people will the required qualifications to work in the four
aspects of production we need to think about when producing the advert such as Lighting,
Sound, Producers and Camera producers. We will also research and record what each of
these aspect of production do and how we could use them to create an effective advert.
The Qualifications needed for the Lighting studio role are:Guilds Electrical installation Course parts 1 and 2
National Vocational Qualification in lighting( Level3)
General qualification in HE/FE courses in production lighting and more general TV
production skills.
The Qualifications needed for those working on the sound affect for the advert are:B.Mus qualification
Those working in film d television sound at graduate level
HND, BA courses at post graduate level
The Qualifications needed for those working as a camera operator are:BBC training and development.
Short course at the National film and televisionSchool
Qualifications in Photography
The Qualification s needed become a producer are:BFI’s film strategies
A Big Future 2
A network of film academies have been approved as centre’s of excellence in the
training for film.
If the people we are looking to recruit don’t have these qualifications we will not be able
to them, because it is our job as your client to ensure that we need your requirement
when producing the advert. We will carry out this task using Microsoft word and
Skillset.org.

3. Research into other products and how they can impact the ideas behind the
creation and promotion of our newest brand energy drink we are promoting called
“Swift”.
My colleagues and I are going to research other popular energy drink such as Monster,
Boost and PowerAde s and their companies to see how they have promoted and
manufactured the products. To carry out this research we are planning to look at how they
have advertising their products. We are going to document the Competitors, Ingredients
and nutritional ingredients, Labeling and costs of each product. As this will give us
inspiration and ideas for how we could create and promote our new brand of energy drink
called “Swift.”
We think that looking at labeling of these products and their ingredients will give us an idea
of how we as a company will look to reach your requirement as our client in producing this
newest brand of energy drink. We Will done this part of the task using Microsoft word.
4. Logo design/Slogan and the secret ingredient
My fellow colleagues are going to use a mixture of ay to come up with the final designs of
the Swift energy drink product logo. We are going to use some of the colour schemes and
detail from the labels from our research on other popular energy drink, to create our own
brand logo and slogan. We also as a company met to come up with a unique secret in
ingredient with will help to market and promote our newest brand of energy drink “Swift.”
As a group we will each sketch out our logo design on paper. We will then scan these logo
designs into document evidence for this task. I will then assign one of my colleagues to
produce the final version of Adobe Photoshop to make the logo look professional and stand
out from the logos of other companies.
As a company we will provide an appropriate slogan for our newest brand of energy we are
advertising, that will draw the target audience attention buying our product. This means
that we need to make the slogan easily recognizable to a wider range of people. This will
also boost the marketing of our newest product the “Swift” energy drink.

5. Legal issues, TV insurance, AON and Bectu.org.uk
As part of are documentation we as a company need to research different TV insurance
companies before we upload to advert to any TV network. However as put of this
Documentation we as a company will need to research what the AON and Bectu companies
are about and the history and how beneficial and how much it will cost to insurance our
advert with these TV insurance companies. We as a group are also going to research ASA (
Advertising Standards Authority) Trade unions ( Bectu.org .u) and BBFC ( British board of
film classification) SO we are aware of the legal issue’s we could face producing this
advertisement.

6. Produce a video sequence Specification
As part for our evidence for producing this new advert our company will produce a
document showing how we will identify your needs as our client. In this documentation we
will we will include a target audience, Scripts, Storyboardsshowing the stages leading up our
final advertisement. We will also include some of the technical Considerations we will think
about when creating the advert such as e.g platforms, File formats, file size, compression,
streaming methods and media player.
7. The Budgeting of the equipment neededforthis type of production
During the preparation research of our final advert I and my follow colleague will organise
the budgeting for the equipment need to produce a good quality advert. We to think about
the essential equipment need to produce a good quality advert.

Props
Camera
Computer editing equipment
Lighting equipment
Scripts
Bottle
TV insurance costs

Research into other products and how they can impact the ideas behind the creation and promotion of our newest brand energy drink we are promoting called “Swift”. My colleagues and I are going to research other popular energy drink such as Monster, Boost and PowerAde s and their companies to see how they have promoted and manufactured the products. To carry out this research we are planning to look at how they have advertising their products. We are going to document the Competitors, Ingredients and nutritional ingredients, Labeling and costs of each product. As this will give us inspiration and ideas for how we could create and promote our new brand of energy drink called “Swift.” We think that looking at labeling of these products and their ingredients will give us an idea of how we as a company will look to reach your requirement as our client in producing this newest brand of energy drink.   • 3. 4. Logo design/Slogan and the secret ingredient My fellow colleagues are going to use a mixture of ay to come up with the final designs of the Swift energy drink product logo. We are going to use some of the colour schemes and detail from the labels from our research on other popular energy drink, to create our own brand logo and slogan. We also as a company met to come up with a unique secret in ingredient with will help to market and promote our newest brand of energy drink “Swift.” As a group we will each sketch out our logo design on paper. We will then scan these logo designs into document evidence for this task. I will then assign one of my colleagues to produce the final version of Adobe Photoshop to make the logo look professional and stand out from the logos of other companies. As a company we will provide an appropriate slogan for our newest brand of energy we are advertising, that will draw the target audience attention buying our product. This means that we need to make the slogan easily recognizable to a wider range of people. This will also boost the marketing of our newest product the “Swift” energy drink. 5. Legal issues, TV insurance, AON and Bectu.org.uk As part of are documentation we as a company need to research different TV insurance companies before we upload to advert to any TV network.
