SIMPLE FUTURE WITH ‘WILL’
She will play basketball.
They will go to the beach.
David will play the guitar.
3. The means of transportation refers to
the (motorized) vehicles necessary for
transport according to the chosen mode
(car, airplane, ship, truck and rail).

8. FUTURE WITH ‘GOING TO’
The use of "going to" to refer to future events
suggests a very strong link to the present.
“Going to” is mostly used to talk about our plans
and intentions, or to make predictions based on
current evidence. In everyday speech, “going to”
is often shortened to “gonna”, especially in
American English, although it is never spelled that
way.

Affirmative form.
Subject + verb to be + going to + verb (base form) + complement
10. They are not going to play tennis.
Negative form.
Subject+ verb to be + not + going to + verb (base form) + complement
They aren’t going to play tennis.
11. Is he going to travel to France?
Question form.

Yes, he is.
Is he going to travel to USA?
No, he isn´t.

WH-Question Words are interrogative particles
that we use to ask questions in English. They are:
WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY, HOW.

Is used to ask for information about something.
What is she going to do?
She is going to dance ballet.
14. Where?
Is used to ask for the place or location.
Where is she going to dance?
She is going to dance
ballet at the theater.
15. When?
Is used to ask about time.
When is she going to dance?

16. Why?
Is used to ask for a reason.
Why is she going to dance?
She is going to dance ballet at

because she has a competition.
17. How?
Is used to ask the manner.
How is she going to go there?
She is going to go there by

18. FUTURE WITH ‘WILL’
Future Simple with will is the future in English that
allows you to express spontaneous decisions about
future actions, predictions or future events that
cannot be altered. It is formed with the auxiliary verb
Will plus the infinitive of the main verb.
19. She will play basketball in the next
competition.
Affirmative form.

20. He will not work next Sunday.
Negative form.

He won’t work next Sunday.
21. Will you buy a bike?
Question form.
