I worked in Busswells for a 5 day work experience placement. During my time here I was
required to maintain a clean environment by taking dishes to the kitchen to be cleaned. I
attentively took orders from customers and I then took the orders to the kitchen and delivered
the orders to the customers when they were complete. From this placement I was able to
develop my communication skills and also learned how to adapt to a fast past environment
allowing to work efficiently.
Bray Library
Librarian assistant
2013 - 2013
I worked in the library for a 5 day work experience placement. At the start of everyday I helped
open up the library and updated the late fees.I stocked books on the shelves according the
dewey decimal system. I checked books in and out. I assisted customers with inquiries and
additionally I located books. This placement helped me to gain communication and
organization skills. I also learned how to solve problems effectively and assist customer needs.
