1.Self-diagnosis based on self-knowledge:
As a leader self-knowledge is very important,
knowing are strengths and weaknesses motivates
us to improve our weaknesses and amplify our
strengths by more focusing on them. Now as a
neighbourhood leader I need to know where I am
lacking and am I doing my work efficiently and I
can know this by putting review polls occasionally
and the residents will review me which will make
me a better neighbourhood leader.
2. Self-diagnosis based on emotional intelligence:
Now emotional intelligence is also important
because as a neighbour leader I must possess a
good emotional intelligence in order to really
understand the problems the residents are facing.
2. Emotional intelligence includes emotions like
empathy - which will make me understand the
problems better and optimism - which will
motivate me to keep going and find the solutions
that are efficient.
3. Self-diagnosis based on social intelligence:
As a neighbourhood leader, Social intelligence
includes skills like how I am interacting with the
residents. My communication skills must be direct
as well as polite because I need direct
communication to save the time of the society and
reject the problems which are not for the society’s
good but at the same time being polite so that I
can make better social relations.
4.An action plan that has a self-development
element:
As I have mentioned before I will be putting up a
review poll occasionally to review my performance
and how well I am managing my responsibilities.
As a neighbourhood leader I need to develop
myself regularly so that I do not lag behind the
society’s needs. These reviews will give me a clear
idea of my flaws and I will be able to work on
3. them. I will constantly try to improve in order to
become a better leader.
5.An action plan that has a positive relationship
element:
A neighbourhood leader is responsible for positive
environment in the society. This can only be
possible if the leader have a positive relationship
with the residents. So for that I will regularly ask
the residents for their individual needs and also
the common society’s needs and will try my best
to complete them. I will be responsible to resolve
any arguments between the residents so that the
residents also have a positive relationships among
them.
