5. OBJECTIVE:
The main goal of TSF is to collaborate, and help students through their programs to inspire and
integrate them, using innovative ways. This can be accomplished when TSF connects students
all over the world and help them grow in their respective fields. Therefore, social media takes the
responsibility to influence and is an important virtual space where the platform is not only used
for social networking but is also a great way of digitally advertising your brand and your products.
6. Digital marketing is the component of marketing that uses the Internet and
online based digital technologies such as desktop computers, mobile phones
and other digital media and platforms to promote products and services. It can
take several arrangements, including internet video, advertising, and social
networking. And since this pandemic(COVID-19) has hit the world in the worst
possible way, Digital Marketing will be considered more than ever over
Traditional marketing.
7. Components of digital marketing for THE SPARKS FOUNDATION:
1.Email marketing-
Email is a direct marketing method that involves sending promotional messages to a
segmented group of prospects or customers. Email marketing continues to be an effective
approach for sending personalized messages that target customers’ needs and interests.
2. Content Marketing-
Content marketing is an important strategy for attracting potential customers. Publishing a
regular cadence of high-quality, relevant content online will help establish thought leadership. It
can educate target customers about the problems your product can help them resolve, as well
as boost SEO rankings.
8. 3.Search engine optimization-
Search engine optimization (SEO) focuses on improving organic traffic to your website. SEO
activities encompass technical and creative tactics to improve rankings and increase awareness
in search engines. The most widely used search engines include Google, Bing, and Yahoo.
4.Social media marketing-
Social media marketing is a key component of digital marketing. Platforms such as Facebook,
Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, LinkedIn, and even YouTube provide digital marketing
managers with paid opportunities to reach and interact with potential customers.
9. 6.Vedio-blogging:
Vlogs refer to video blogging or video logging. It’s basically a blog in a video format. Your
audience can see a face and hear a voice to your ads, and that is a good thing. It gives the ad
more credibility and more reliability since you know who is talking and you know how the
message was said.
5.Blogging:
Blog marketing is any process that publicizes or advertises a website, business, brand or
service via the medium of blogs. This includes, but is not limited to marketing via ads placed
on blogs, recommendations and reviews by the blogger, promotion via entries on third party
blogs and cross-syndication of information across multiple blogs.
10. Important Social Media Marketing Metrics to track for The Sparks
Foundation:
1.Measuring the right social media metrics:
Every social media platform has its own native analytics for you to dive into. For Facebook,
you’ll find them in the Insights tab. In Twitter, you navigate to Twitter Analytics. In Instagram
and Pinterest, you’ll need business accounts before you’ll be able to see your data.
2.Engagement- Likes, comments, shares and clicks:
Engagement is a big umbrella category to track. The engagement rate is a metric often used to
track how actively involved with your content your audience is and how effective your brand
campaigns are.
11. 3.Awareness- Impressions & reach:
Frequently used but often confused, impressions and reach are each an important metric to
track, especially if your goals for social are focused around brand awareness and perception.
4.Share of voice- Volume and sentiment:
Share of voice is a metric often used in public relations, or as part of a competitive analysis or
paid advertising campaign. It indicates how much of the online sphere your brand is taking
part in. For example, if you’re a florist in Toronto, it would look like how many people are
talking about your brand online as compared to your competitors.
