 It is an attempt to explain
the presence arrangement
of continents

He was trying the occurrence of remnants of
tropical ferns in London, Paris, Bonn and
Greenland.
Why coal belts were found in tundra region?
Why glaciers had covered parts of Brazil,
Peninsular India, South Africa and Congo?

existence to the relative position of the earth and sun
