The researchers examined how parameters like working temperature, heat flux, inclination angle, and working fluid fill ratio influence heat transfer. They found that the evaporation and condensation heat transfer coefficients were higher for the 3D finned heat pipe compared to a smooth gravity-assisted heat pipe under the same conditions. The 3D fins on the inner wall reduced the internal thermal resistance and enhanced the heat pipe's transfer performance.
