How to set up a festival booth
Setting a beautiful festival booth will go a long way in ensuring that many people will come to your booth. In our case it is a booth for a car washing fundraiser for Catholic Charities to raise money to help the needy in the community.
Creating a good festival booth will require some aspects when buying the equipment and at the actual set up of the festival booth.
If you get the right equipment and using it well will make your craft stand out from the rest and attract more people. Below are some tips on how to make you create an outstanding festival booth.
Right equipment
Right equipment is the first thing you get for the booth. You will need a tent that will fit the purpose of the booth. Get table which are light transportable and tall enough. You need to place you products in in a place where they are visible and accessible to the customers. Give yourself enough space to sit and move around when talking to the people.
Creating a Great Display
In our case it is a booth for a car washing fundraiser for Catholic Charities to raise money to help the needy in the community. You need to design it in a way that will communicate the message to the people. This will attract many people as opposed to a plain booth which has no plan. Choose fabrics and materials which will attract the attention of the customers. The more appealing it is, the more people will come to your booth.
If you follow the steps wisely, you will have a great festival booth.

· The invited guests are the state bishop who will be in charge

3. Challenges
Up to this far the planning team has encountered the following
challenges.
a. Hostile treatment and reception from some car owners.
b. Lack of enough number of people to assist in taking part in
this charitable course.
c. Some planning members are new to this activity and cannot
come up with brilliant ideas on how to carry out this course.
4. Cost analysis
This Project is estimated to have cost the planning members $
1000; since the project is almost half way it is anticipated that
the whole project will cost $ 2000.This amount of money
gathers for travelling, food and purchasing of prerequisite
materials for washing the cars.
5. Request for assistance
To curb the above challenges it is the opinion of the planning
members that;
a. You reach out to the general public to explain the importance
of this course.
b. Increase the number of manpower to help in washing the cars.
Conclusion
At the end of this course we anticipate that the needy in the
society will have the last smile. They will feel recognized and
part of the society. It is therefore equally important to say that;
no good action will go unpaid, God above will bless each one of
us.
Once again thank you for your continued support.

Proposal Letter
Dear Mr. Mayor,
Following this coming annual festival, I hereby wish to invite
you to deliver a speech at the meeting. Slotted for a date to be
communicated to you, the festival is intended to persuade the
employees into realizing the opportunities around them. In this
regard the speech is expected to inspire them to coming up with
ideas for generating revenue to help the public. Considering
that, the environment nurtures their individual development I
think it is important that they are made aware of that fact. In
addition, I think it is necessary that the audience acknowledge
that most people pretending to offer charity are not usually
5. straightforward. Majority of them attend such charities with
shut off notices. The speech would directed at the general
public, employees as well as any other individual seeking
assistance from the agency in any other capacity. It will
therefore, be structured in a way that is relevant to the
mentioned groups.
Formal techniques will be used in gathering information as
regards to the subject as the entity is a respectful business
organization. Within this context, the intended audience would
be made to understand that the agency is not in a position to
help the public financially. Consequently, it is the mandate of
every member of the community to try to generate money in
order to help the needy in the society.
Posters and memos would be the most preferable medium for
passing important messages accompanied by billboards asking
the community to give donations heartedly. The reason for using
these particular forms is that they are cheap to create and access
quite a big size of the intended population. As a result, most of
the residents in the community will receive the information.
In the speech, you could organize the message into three
sections pivoted along the main agenda. The appropriate
subsections that would be handled include ways of generating
money such as carwashes and bakes sales. The other subsection
would be discussing the ways of helping the needy, in which
items such as food and financial assistance could be proposed to
cater for their bills. Finally, given your honorary role in the
face of the public I would appreciate if you reassured them of
your commitment to their interests.

Re: Strategic Planning Meeting
To all employees and members this is a letter of intent to inform
all employees that the profits was down last year and many
families could not be helped due to the shortage of funds that
was raised within our business. Without the support of events
that will enable us as a whole to raise more funds we will fall
short of the goals of helping our community.
7. As we all know our goal and logo is to help those that cannot
help themselves within our community to live better lives. Our
company “Catholic Charities” has to come up with way to be
able to raise more funds in order to help the people that are in
need of help because we are a non-profit organization.
The strategies we have to use to come up with the funds that
will be needed to fulfill our needs to the community are as
listed:
· Sell Dinners
· Have Car Washes
· Sport Events
Raising money is the key to the company success.
