Area Manager (India & Middle East) February’2014 to present
Compagnie De Forage Cofor (COFOR)
Reporting to the CEO of this Paris based Drilling Contractor, started up the Drilling Contract
with Cairn India with one rig and executed the Project till pre-mature end of contract. Also, is
in-charge of developing more business in India and the Middle East.
Senior Contracts Manager (International) May’2012 to January’2014
Grey Wolf Drilling International, Dubai
Reporting to the President (International), managed the international Tendering & Contracting
function of the company for all activities outside North America. Successful in winning contracts
with KOC for two 3000 HP new build rigs on 5 years contract (US$ 80.00M) and two 2000 HP
rigs with Western Zagros for Kurdistan region of Iraq (US$ 50.00M) on two years contract. Also,
prepared twenty four Bids internationally during this period.

2. Country Manager (India) February’ 2008 to January’2012
Weatherford Drilling International (BVI) Ltd.
Started up the onshore drilling business of the company in India from ground up position and
executed contracts with four Rigs in India with Canoro Resources (A Calgary based E&P
Company) in Assamand Three Rigs with Cairn Energy at Barmer (Rajasthan) with contracts
worth $ 80M. Also, pursued potential start-ups with other E&P companies, both onshore and
offshore. One of the top performing country operations within Weatherford with an average
FOP of 20 %.
Operations Manager (Global Tender Assist Barges) September’ 2006 to January’ 2008
KCA Deutag, Aberdeen (U.K.)
Assisted the global offshore drilling operations of the company with Tender Assist Barges with
operations in Angola, Ivory Coast, Thailand and two refurbish works in MMHE yard in Malaysia.
Started up a new project to drill gas wells in offshore Ivory Coast very successfully from ground
up position with contract value of $ 29 M.
Area Manager (India) February’ 2005 to August’ 2006
Nabors Drilling International, Houston (USA)
Managed the Indian operation with 2 offshore platform Rigs working for O.N.G.C. Also, pursued
potential start ups with other E&P companies, both onshore and offshore. Executed contracts
worth $ 25 M.
International Business Development Manager October’ 2003 to January’ 2005
Precision Drilling International, Calgary (Canada)
Worked as a Consultant for the Sr. V.P. of Precision Drilling International (Canada) in developing
new drilling and work over business in the Middle East, Far East, Indian Sub Continent, Mexico
and Africa. Prepared international drilling and work over bids at Calgary office and evaluated
technical / financial feasibility of acquiring new businesses for the company. Successful in
winning drilling contracts in India and Middle East and involved in the acquisition of Global
Santa Fe’s land operation.

3. Managed drilling and work over operations of this Drilling contractor with operations in Oman
and Yemen for PDO, Gulf Stream Resources and Canadian Occidental.
Also, consulted international Oil & Gas companies from S.S. Oilfield Equipment in developing
new business in the region by helping prepare bids and local cost / logistical inputs.
Area Manager (Muscat) April’ 1994 to April’ 1999
Essar Oil Ltd., Sultanate of Oman
Managed this Drilling Contractor with onshore operation with 6 Rigs in contract with PDO.
Expanded this company from 2 Rigs to 6 Rigs within a period of 3 years with contract valued at
US$ 80 Million.
Oil India Ltd. (Formerly Burma Shell) August’ 1977 to April’ 1994
- Drilling and Work Over Advisorto CMD January’ 1993 to April’ 1994
Managed the drilling and work over activities of this E&P Company with 25 Land Rigs
and 2 contracted Offshore Rigs with operations spreading all over India
- Drilling Manager / Drilling Supdt, Rajasthan Project:
November’ 1988 to December’ 1993
Managed this new exploratory onshore drilling project from ground up position in the
remote Thar deserts in Rajasthan, India with 2 Deep Rigs.
- Drilling Superintendent, Offshore Projects January’ 1985 to November’ 1988
Supervised and managed the offshore operation of the company with 2 Jack-up and 1
Drill Ship in the Eastern Coast of India.
- Drilling Supervisor (Company Man), Onshore / Offshore Projects.
March’ 1982 to January’ 1985
Worked as Company Man on contracted onshore and offshore Rigs and supervised day
to day operations in Assamand Orissa.

4. - Driller, Onshore Assam Projects Jan’ 1978 to January’ 1982
Worked on company owned onshore drilling and work over rigs as a driller and drilled
wells in the plains of foot hills of Assam, India.

Bachelor of Chemical Engineering graduated in 1976.
