1.  1st time I used x camera
 we shot handheld
 we had lots of panning and tracking shots
 the footage was very shakey - then we used a monopod and stabilizer
 I used x manual controls (eg we found x issue with the auto focus and action shots; here's a
comparison with manual)
 I tried out the greenscreen (I set it up by...; here are the results)
 we used a basic shot list

 we had a questionnaire to test out our ideas on audience
 we researched the genre and its audience, sampling film openings and budgets, box office and

 we included intertextual references (or other postmodern elements) to widen our audience
 we considered narrative theories, specifically... Todorov/Propp

including an antihero
 we shot a lot of coverage, shooting everything multiple times; looked for useful cutaway shots and
interesting framing opportunites

2.  1st time I used lumix camera

 I used resolution + brightness manual controls and found an issue (it was square and too dim)
 we shot handheld
o Because we couldn’t fit a tripod in some of these shots
 we looked at micro-detail x [eg titles; editing to signify protagonist; idents ...] in several films
o First time we experimented with editing to connote the protagonist (we wanted to make it
obscure)
o Titles and the order they appear in
 we considered theories like the uses and gratifications model whilst planning
o Younger teen character + more mature character
 we included intertextual references (or other postmodern elements) to widen our audience
o The music is classic rock, popular in the 90s
 we used an external mic
o We recorded all the external dialogue with a separate microphone
 we shot at night and found... bad

o Both our studio idents were made by us and even the custom studiocanal one was made by
Eduardo in blender.

 we shot a lot of coverage, shooting everything multiple times; looked for useful cutaway shots and
interesting framing opportunities
 we relied on natural lighting
o We picked a very specific time (11:00 am) so we could take advantage of the natural lighting
 we gave cast detailed instructions on clothing and look
o We told the protagonist to wear the same casual wear (blue hoodie and jeans) to the church
for continuity and we told the villain character to wear a full suit on the day of the shoot
however he forgot a shirt and tie, but we still managed to achieve the desired effect.
 we did re-shoots after seeking feedback
o This whole thing is actually a full reshoot we did after receiving feedback, we then actually
reshot the church scene a third time after further feedback
 we found issues with sound
o Some of the natural sounds made in the scene werent loud enough or had to be added in post
 we developed a screenplay
 we downloaded multiple font and installed it on a Mac

 we combined actual industry names with our own for titles, which had a very specific order and use of
language, reflecting concepts such as the auteur theory...
o Most of the names in the titles are actual industry names, that we took from the cast and
crews of the films/tvseries that inspired us

4. Script

inthe foregroundandthenonce Ileave we cut straightback to the protagonist,thiswasdone
deliberatelytoshowthathe isthe protagonist
We alsoresearchedandlookedintoexactlywhatorderthe titlesappearin(editindocof title order) so
we couldmake somethingthatwasas accurate as possible
We alsoconsideredthe theoryof usesandgratification,we didthisbyhavingthe protagonistbe a
youngteenandthe othercharacter we tried tomake seemmore mature,so we couldrepresentaswide
of an audience aspossible
We alsoincludedaclassicrock song fromthe rollingstones,abandthatwas more popularinthe 60s for
some intertextuality
