I had the opportunity to work with Cynthia in her role as a PMO Project
Manager for a SharePoint customization that we had designed to assist us with
managing work activities on a project. Our organization had hired an outside
contractor to develop the application, and Cynthia provided project
management oversight of the contractor. In this role she served as a “go-
between” to ensure that our needs as clients were adequately served while
also ensuring that our requests did not exceed the scope of the contract.
In performing this work Cynthia demonstrated good communication skills,
responding quickly to my questions, providing work status updates, and
facilitating discussions between us and the contractor. She also kept track of
deliverables to ensure that items were completed as contracted, and she
reviewed products prior to delivery. She was honest when she didn’t know the
answers to questions, and would seek technical assistance to resolve issues
when she needed help. She maintained a positive attitude throughout the
project, and demonstrated a good orientation towards customer service. I
enjoyed working with her and would recommend her for other information
technology projects.
