For every role that is "performed" in one's life, the antithesis of that role also is performed. As I examine my many roles that I play in life, I realize
that the majority of my time spent on this planet has been filled with learning. We all are eternal students, I guess you could say; this would at least
be true in an ideal world. And for every individual whom consumes his or herself with being a student, that person also is a teacher. Too often the
definition of teaching gets associated with a labeled person– a person with chalk–stained hands and a bright red apple upon a desk. I believe that

In this respect I would say that this role is somewhat inherited; however, not biological or genetic, except in rare cases. These cases may include (but
are not limited to), being born with some sort of defect that changes one's outlook, thus jading their personality and making them a cynical teacher who
cannot see a bright side to the world, or perhaps the genetic makeup of someone makes them cast out from the rest of society, making them too bitter to
teach a lesson that doesn't have a negative overtone. And of course there are positive ways that one could see teaching as genetic. If a child, for
instance, has exceptional parents that both have an incredible strength in teaching others, then that child will more than likely be able to teach valuable
and positive lessons throughout its life.
This role is mostly learned, however, and influenced by various forces around us– not only other humans. I feel that my own role as a teacher... a
mentor... was shaped by the way I look at life. Throughout my days, I have attained an optimistic, benevolent attitude with an underlying intrigue and
fascination about life and all that it holds. Since I can remember, I have quested for knowledge and wanted to share my discoveries with others. My
discoveries were hardly something that was taught in a book.
It is an amazing thing to see lessons learned in your own life being reiterated and transformed into another lesson for another individual. This is

This also hurts them when they are being looked at for promotions or any favorable actions. As a soldier you want to always make a great

Personal Responsibility and Accountability Due to my recent troubles at work I have been counseled twice in the past several weeks. This has
given me a lot of time to reflect at the way I have really presented myself in the Army thus far. I have not always been the best Soldier that I could
have been during most of the time I that I have been in so far. Thinking about this does bother me, it means that I could be trying harder to get
ahead and better myself as a Soldier and a person. Lets say for example I have been late to work twice in the past several weeks not only to include
missing a pt formation altogether. I did this by not ensuring that i had met alo of my neds to ensure that i woudl wake up in the morning. But by doing
I did the right thing after not going to formation in the first palce by calling who had already been done with pt. Which is were some realized that

I also was a friendly, likeable guy. People weren't afraid of me or intimidated, and I respected their homes and was responsible enough to clean my

Personal Responsibility To be successful in college one must be personally responsible for their actions. Personal responsibility is having integrity, and
taking accountability for his or her actions. Doing the right thing and making ethical choices will demonstrate being personally responsible and will
result in a successful college experience.
Personal responsibility is taking ownership of their thoughts and actions (Stockdale and Brockett, 2011). Personal responsibility to me is having
integrity. What I mean by this is being trust worthy to do the right thing, all the time. For example, plagiarizing work, if someone is trustworthy they
By organizing I can set the steps in each category, short, intermediate, and long term, with each step leading toward my ultimate long termgoal. After
all isn 't that what we all want, to set ourselves up to reach the ultimate long term goal. Once I have organized my goals, I will then prioritize them.
I will rank all of my goals in the order in which I want to accomplish them. I will start with the most immediate goal first and work my way to my
ultimate goal. For example, the most immediate goal for me is to obtain my degree. My next goal would be to retire from the Marine Corps once I

The Importance of Accountability and Responsibility in the U.S. Army The following essay is a compilation of my personal experiences,
definitions, and examples of how responsibility and accountability are important to surviving in today's U.S. Army. Responsibility is increased when
soldiers have a single, clear set of rules that apply to a specific event. When the guidelines are unclear, or when more than one set of rules seems to
apply to an event, responsibility is decreased. Responsibility is: the obligation for the proper, custody, care, and safekeeping of property or funds
entrusted to the possession or supervision of an individual. Being responsible in the US Army has got to be of the utmost importance in my opinion.
The NCO's responsibility is to make sure that the Soldier is accountable for the items and has eyes on these items when needed, so that he can report it
to his higher command. Accountability is a concept in ethics with several meanings. It is often used synonymously with such concepts as
answerability, responsibility, blameworthiness, liability and other terms associated with the expectation of account–giving. At its root, accountability
involves either the expectation or assumption of account–giving behavior. In another view, accountability is a simple word that, at its root, means: "the
willingness to stand up and be counted –– as part of a process, activity or game." In this sense, then, accountability is less something I'm held to, or
something done to me; rather, it is a word reflecting personal choice and willingness to contribute to an expressed or implied outcome. Accountability is

who don't have any they can be lacking in many things and most people will see them as drags on society. Not only that, but they seem to have
negative impressions with everyone else as they do not really help contribute to the betterment of mankind but that is how most people act in today's

I would be able to come through on my promises to people and help them with whatever they need help with. Say my friend across the street needs me

Importance of Being on Time Essay
The importance of being on time in the military (or anywhere at all), is simply a symptom of discipline, which was instilled in new enlisted soldiers
during basic training. Being on time shows reliability. We have to show discipline, responsibility, show care through following military rules and
regulations. Being on time not only pertains to accountability, but shows respect to our fellow soldiers, our unit, command and organization as a

Getting in order your own personal dress uniform ready for a military ball in a timely manner shows completion of whatever updates your uniform
needs. Therefore, even completing little tasks such as so, shows you are able and competent to do it yourself on your own time. The importance
of being on time shows your reliability. If you show competence and responsibility when you're entrusted with little, then you will exhibit to you
superiors that you can likely to be entrusted with more. While it is absolutely essential to be reliable in the military, consistently showing that
