1. How did you use new media technologies in the construction
and research, planning and evaluation stages?

2. New Media Technologies
• We used different media
technologies when doing
our media practical
project , such as
Youtube,Weebly and
Prezi.Using a variety of
new media technologies
has helped us to enhance
our computer literate
skills.

3. • In A2 instead of using Blogger we decided to use Weebly .Taking
what we have learnt from AS which has helped to develop our skills
, we used Weebly to put the information about our Researching &
Planning , Construction and Evaluation.
• Using Weebly has allowed the use of our new technologies to develop
, Weebly has more features and interesting aspects which have
advanced our media project efficiently .

4. Research and Planning
• Using YouTube greatly benefited us as we were able to look
at different film trailers , which helped us to take
inspiration as to what to eventually include in our own
trailer. It also allowed us to get some ideas into what a
horror trailer needs.
• We used YouTube also to view our three main trailers which
we used as to analysis film trailers for our Research and
Planning.

5. Construction
• Using technologies such as cameras has been a great advantage for
filming our film trailer it has allowed us to film scenes in the Drama
room and other locations as easily as possible as the camera is really
easy to use and hold.
• We used Final Cut Pro to Edit our Film Trailer which has greatly
benefited us, as Final Cut Pro has all the features such Video
Transitions , Exporting and Importing things such as pictures and
music which were needed to make our trailer look the best that it can
be.

6. • We used Adobe Photoshop when creating our Magazine front cover and
poster for our horror trailer which has meant that we can edit and
place upon different items as well.
For our Horror Poster , we took
a picture of one of our main
characters Tiffany played by
Catherine Markey. Then placed
image onto Photoshop , whilst
editing it by putting text and
different effects.

7. Evaluation
• We used four different new technologies to answer the
questions we had for our evaluation such as Prezi,
Slideshare.
Using Slideshare and Prezi to present our information onto weebly , which
allowed us to answer the four main questions in dept and to explore more
points whilst using pictures.

8. • New Media Technologies has allowed us to show our
information in a variety of ways, it has been a great
advantage as it is a new way of putting across our
information.
• Using Youtube to research Trailers , has greatly impacted us
, while the use of Slideshare has allowed us to present
information in a new light.
