The Company
Our Client is a one of the world’s fastest growing privately owned enterprises with a solid
track record across mining, rail, ports and logistics. The company is in the process of
seeking approval to develop a Greenfield coal mine in Central Queensland. The estimated
investment is over $6 billion to develop not only the mine, but rail and port facilities as well.
The Role
This position will be responsible for influencing and shaping the organisation through
organisational development initiatives, HR Strategy development and resulting
implementation.
Some of the key deliverables will be (but not limited to):
Influence and drive companywide organisation design and architecture
Development and implementation of HR strategy
Implementation of leadership development and culture change programs across
company
Establishment of employee value proposition
Development of Attraction and Retention strategy in support of the organisation
philosophy
Build people capability, create and evaluate organisation development activities and
recommend appropriate interventions
The Person
The size and complexity of the company’s businesses dictate that, to be successful in this
role, the candidate will be an experienced and successful senior human resource leader
with a strong background in organisational design and development initiatives.
Some of the Key Capabilities & Competencies required are:
Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Organisation Psychology
Excellent communication and influencing skills
Strong background in strategic organisation development in an integrated and
diverse enterprise
Experience in managing and influencing people up to Board level
Demonstrated change management experience from concept through to
implementation
Experience dealing with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
Ability to demonstrate initiative and leading team-based environments
Previous experience developing and implementing large scale companywide
strategies, change programs and initiatives.
