We booked our excursion in advance before arriving at Montego Bay. We were going to be visiting Dunns River Falls and park which included a sky
lift that took us seven hundred feet up. We met with our tour guide who would be with us throughout the day at Montego Bay. The excursion required
an hour and a half bus ride to Ocho Rios, which is where the falls were located. The scenery along the way was almost breathtaking. We saw numerous
local people at every stop light and along the road tying to sell different types of fruit and hand–crafted items. We learned that tourism is the primary,
and almost only source, of income for locals in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and most of Jamaica. The vegetation growth in Jamaica was beautiful and

grow happily, grateful, and Godly people. Most of the people I grew up with want to live their lives as simply as possible. I believe most of them, me
included, are afraid of the unknown. Through time all those feelings have changed for me. For the past three years, since I met my fiancГ© everything
has come into a different perspective. I have come to believe that traveling broadens the mind. There are so many different things we can learn about
another country and its culture. I get to know their world, their beliefs. It is simply amazing how different we can be. In 2016, I took a Spanish class at
East Central Community College. My instructor, Carla Gray, taught me many things about the Spanish culture, such as "The Day of the Dead", Dia de
Los Muertos, a very important Holiday. Day of the Dead celebrates the gatherings of family. It's significance, prayer, and remembrance of friends and
family members who have past. Traditions connected with the holidays include building private altars called ofrendas, honoring the deceased using the

Traveling is Good for the Soul Traveling is one of the most fun activities you can ever try and it doesn't pertain to your gender, age or race.
Traveling to new places can be scary, but taking a leap of faith will allow you to experience new and exciting things. Also, when traveling it is
important to always remember to keep your mind open to the things around you so that you can experience your destination to the fullest. Traveling
allows you to expose yourself to new cultures, learn new things, and its fun. Taking these adventures gives you opportunities that you might have
never had before. Whether you travel to new countries, states, or towns there is always a new group of people that do every day activities differently
then you. So when traveling, take the chance to learn about their culture. Learning about another person's culture enables you to create a bond of

the city villages and town markets. This will let you gain insight into the country or states fruit, flower, and what their government system is like
compared to your own. Another way you can be immersed in another's culture is to go to an event that your destination might be hosting and or
