Responsible for completing EOM, EOQ, and Senior Leadership presentation slides for management and current director for SLT
meetings monthly at the corporate office. Completed compliance reporting for carriers and shippers with regards to routing guide,
transportation spend, lead time, and other supply chain measurements for compliance for corporate operations and expectations. Direct
contact for freight accounting and accrual between carriers and internal AP department. Finalize AP for correct cost expenditures with
cross functional team and systems to ensure timely payment to vendors and ensuring no over-payments or duplicate payments.
Examples of specific tasks and responsibilities are as follows (and some if not most were already performed during previous position):
• Daily/weekly/monthly reporting within Lean TMS and internal freight WHSE for carrier functions and accruals:
specifically in regards to tender compliance and carrier compliance as well as capacity performance from contracted
and committed carriers based off of annual RFP and budgeted cost compliance for Sr. Management
• Created all BI reports within Lean Logistics for automated scheduling with data integrity from ERP which included
charts.
• Provided EOW, EOM, and EOQ BU metrics for Senior Leadership Team focusing on carrier scorecards, profit/loss
margins, carrier spend, OTP by carrier, operational excellence opportunities, and many other reportable functions.
• Prepare SLT slides in PPT and Word for executive presentation on a monthly basis
• Continued work knowledge of internal systems and liaison between IT and corporate and field departments
Senior Logistics Specialist Caraustar Industries, Incorporated October 2012 – June 2015 Austell, GA
Duties included but not limited to overseeing TMS implementation to provide operations and administrative support for all logistics
facets from scheduling carrier route guides, negotiating carrier rates, reviewing and uploading all data to Lean Logistics TMS from
legacy ERP systems such as AS400, Panther, Paper Maker, T-Box, RecPaper, CMS, and more. Working with our team we trained over
200 users on Lean Logistics TMS as well as over 300 carrier vendors in an aggressive EOY and holiday calendar rollout with over 60
shipping locations. Also lead the freight payment integration process for carrier payment and carrier claims. Main integration and
processing lead for implementation of newly acquired company that doubled the size and freight spend of Caraustar – The Newark
Group. Managed 100MM spend in transportation with LTL, IM, and TL carriers as well as managed all warehousing operations and
leasing agreements (interim warehouse manager during transition). I personally trained as many carriers and shippers as with initial
integration for the acquisition of the Newark Group (200 internal customers/users and 300 carriers/vendors).
Specific tasks and responsibilities are as follows:
• System administrator for Lean Logistics TMS and file uploads to ensure accurate data for Beta and production
environments
• Trained all users and carriers on the TMS so ensure seamless transition from pre-existing TMS to maintain business
integrity as well as designed and created all SOP’s for current and future shippers and carriers in MS Word and
PowerPoint
• Worked cross functionally with IT and software engineers to locate and correct any data errors to ensure data
integrity from legacy ERP systems for test and production environments.
• Team lead/supervisor for TMS support across all BU’s and divisions within Caraustar
• Oversee all team functions for Websettle and accounts payable functions with regards to carrier invoicing and
payment
• Helped drive at least $20MM in synergy savings for transportation through RFP and newly implemented process

Duties included but not isolated to interaction between customer service, senior management, on and off site employees and external
carriers to secure and coordinate the transportation of goods to and from North American markets. Also actively participated in CI
