Rejections happen if you are over qualified, under qualified or qualified between 75-100% as per the job description.Getting an interview call from a good organization is like a festival these days.Always be passionate and focused on your profession and try to develop new skills, never close your door and never let your search stagnant. Remember one thing ‘the best candidate doesn’t always get a job’.

We can see frustrated job seekers all around from all industry and from all career levels. Due to the
immense amount of application, it is very difficult for a recruiter to identify the potential candidates
even if they are using so many filtering techniques. Regardless of whether you are working and want to
leave the job or you are unemployed for weeks or months now without any earning and sitting idle. You
have applied for the job that you are interested in or does not see any position that interest you and all
your efforts are failed miserably and you always get regret mail.
No matter how many places you applied or how many phone calls you received. One thing for sure job
search is always exhausting but you can’t give up until you reach your destination. Getting an interview
call from a good organization is like a festival these days.
Before applying for any job carefully analyze the advertisement and you can see so many amazing
facts in that, some of them are:
 Position –Managerial Level, Experience level- 1-3 years or 1-50 years, Job description-General
copied from anywhere, Salary -2000-3500AED/Month ,Company name –Confidential, but many
times there will be an e-mail with or without the company domain so that the candidates can
send their cv’s. If you go to the company website no vacancies must be available, but the
confidential company always says jobs are available. Frequent advertisement of the same job
copied from so many websites.
 When you get an interview call ask the recruiter regarding the job details, location, company
name, type of management etc.: but for some recruiter, it’s all confidential and they will be able
to discuss it only during the interview.After receiving the interview invitation through
mail/telephone/text, enquire about the company and their stability then only you confirm the
interview schedule instead of immediate confirmation for an interview. Without a clear idea of
the job and the company, you may be wasting your time and money for attending such
interview. Organized companies always value their candidates and their time it can be easily
identified from the job notification itself.
 Always remember as a job seeker it’s your decision that what job you want to apply, focus on
the type of the job instead of applying for any job. Many candidates send CV with a subject line
called “CV for any suitable post”. It is your responsibility to find out a job and not the

responsibility of the recruiter or anyone else to give you a job. Always verify the authenticity of
the advertisement/recruiter/company by analyzing the above simple steps then you apply as
recruitment scams are common these days.
 If you are not suitable as per the job posting simply don’t apply. Do not depend on anyone for a
job as such no one can give you a job until and unless he/she owns a company. Maybe good
references can bring you up to the interview table beyond that they are also helpless.
 When you are searching for a new job try to contact your old employer, if you left the company
on good terms and still interested in work with them then they may accommodate you, because
most of the companies rehire their old potential employees.

 Do not join any company just for the sake of a job; be very cautious about the selection of a
company because so many companies (particularly independently owned business) effectively
trap the employees afterward you will be in great trouble because of the labour law restriction.
If you are correct also due to financial and time constrain you may not be able to fight against
the employer for your rights because labour cases need lengthy procedure as of now, maybe it
will change in future. It’s a never ending process for these types of employers to trap the job
seekers so you need to be cautious to avoid further complications.
During your pitfall, you may be having some friends/colleagues they support you and some of them may
avoid you by not attending your calls, blocking you from messaging and all, don’t get depressed it is the
right time for you to identify the value in a real relationship. You need to be optimistic always and try to
engage in one or the other activities that motivate and energize you and stay away from negativism.
Pretty much everyone has been a job seeker at some point in their lives some of them are successful by
their efforts, luck by chance and others are not. Always be passionate and focused on your profession

It is easy for me to write the above but very difficult to practice in real life, ups and downs are common
in professional life take it as a challenge, energize yourself and go forward.
