Based in the Stockton office I manage the Mechanical and Plumbing division as a contracts manager covering the North
East and North Yorkshire. My Mechanical teams deliver planned and reactive maintenance services around the clock
including refrigeration, ventilation, extraction, heating and hot & cold w ater systems in Retail Outlets, Restaurants and
Brew eries, key clients being Mitchel and Butler, Green King, and Care UK.
Duties include -
 Keeping up to date w ith new legislation and best practice w ithin the industry.
 Manage contracts to identify cost or resource saving to maximise performance & boost productivity.
 Support Directors and fellow senior managers in the development of riskand policy documentation.
 Professionally deal w ith allmatters of discipline and grievance procedures.
 Produce riskand method statements.
 Monitor performance of staff, holding appraisals and managing any improvements required through action or
personaldevelopment plans.
 Prioritise w orkload and adapt to any changing demands effectively.
 Monitor contract budgets, and sign off departmentalinvoices.

 Troubleshooting a variety of complex installation problems, identifying and eliminating causes to an effective

Heating Manager

I lead the companies heating installation division, reporting directly to the Commercial Director & Managing Director. This
role involves supervising the full programme of installation w ork across a portfolio of contracts, including Warm Front &
Green Deal.
I am the operational manager for teams of engineers across the North East and North Yorkshire and w ithin this role I am
responsible for recruitment, inspections, site surveys, and training, providing technicaladvice to employees, contractors,
clients and Directors of TIC.
I undertake projects through design, tender and installation, and have recentlysubmitted a tender fora Commercialproject
w hich willbe TIC’s 1st
venture into the Commercial market.
Within this role I have also taken on the responsibility for Consumer complaint resolution, an employee commission based
scheme and a full review of employee engagement through regular 121’s team meeting’s and Personal development
plans.

In charge of building and managing the relationship and contracts between the company, it’s sub-contractors, suppliers,
vendors and onsite w orkforce. Fully responsible for being the focal point for the treatment of all contractual issues and
also involved in organising and controlling w orking relationships with these businesspartners.
Bay Building Services offersa comprehensive service covering allaspects of mechanicalservices, plumbing and heating
installations throughout the North West region across a range of Commercial, local Government, Housing, Leisure and
Education facilities.
Within this role I have gained in-depth know ledge and experience in new /refurbished plant roominstallations, renew able
energies including solar pow er and ground/air source heat pumps, ventilation, air conditioning, building management
systems, and a variety of heating solutions including under floor heating.
I currently hold both my Commercial & Domestic gas engineer certification and as the only member of the senior
management team w ith this professional qualification I manage all elements of any Commercial Gas installation.
Within the company I co-ordinate the apprentiship scheme w hich was one of the contributing factorsin Bay receiving the

motorised valves, radiators and adapting pipe w orkas necessary.
